I love everything about this little tank! I was looking for a perfect little marine tank for my dwarf seahorses, and read the reviews before purchasing. Again, I'd like to point out that people should think before they post....human error doesn't mean the product is bad and deserves 3 stars. Anyway, I don't think this is cheaply made....it's a 2-gallon acrylic tank, should it be made out of 1/2" plexiglass for goodness sake? I LOVE the fact that it has the dual light, unbelievable for a tank this size. And the HOB filter is perfect. It offers biofiltration as well as chemical, with the charcoal filter and bio block. I bought a small replacement sponge, intended for a sponge filter, and slipped it over the strainer, and voila! The best filtration system imaginable for my ponies. And I reaaalllly like that when I turn the waterflow control all the way down, the water only barely agitates the surface of the tank, which is necessary for oxygen exchange, but down at the bottom where the seahorses will be, there is only the gentlest movement of the water, which could not be more ideal....it's a shame the manufacturer discontinued this little tank, I'm thinking of grabbing up another one just to have on hand. Very awesome!

Perfect size up for a small yet well shaped tank for triops or small fish. Good flat surface bottom with plenty of room for diggers, :Lightweight with an excellent double spectrum light. A lot for the price.

I love the tank it's a perfect size. But when I received it some pieces had cracks and some were broken had to Jerry rig it back together. But I love the tank super quiet super sleek and dope I have some zoa corals and green star polyps in it now. Just wish they would package better lik more styrofoam, maybe some peanuts and or bags just to keep it more safe I'm sure the FedEx man didn't care when he threw it across the truck or when it shipped from west coast to east something had to have happened but all in all I love it and great product just pack it better that is all.

I used this for a nano saltwater aquarium and it has worked perfectly.The light is very strong so it has been good for the coral in the tank. This is a great little tank.

Really sucked to plug in filter and immediately the propeller was shaking and not working I have bout nicer tetra items very disappointed as I like this brand but filter is GARBAGE!

Bummed out. The tank kit arrived on time and everything looked great, I opened the shipping parcel to see that the box to the tank had already been opened. After inspecting all of the items inside the open box everything seemed ok so I got the tank ready, filled the pump area and tank with water as instructed and within hours I could hear the pump failing and we smelled burnt plastic. I have received a full refund. The product seemed great and the reviews were good too, I may have just been subject to getting a returned unit but I am moving on to a different product.

I bought it paid for it waited for it and when it finally came it didn't work. Those are the facts in my experience of purchasing the product from Amazon.com

the filter is amazing for the tank...powerful enough that I have had it for almost a year and have only had to add water here and there and wipe around the tops of the tank and replace the filter cartridges. The only complaint I have with the product is the fact that the tank is very cheaply made. I screwed the NANO light onto the top of the tank itself where the lights sleeve rests and very slowly tightened the plastic screws and it instantly cracked the top of the fish tank. Besides that my guppies are happy in their sophisticated home.
