The brush is softer than I expected for a boars head, but my cat still loves it.She will actually grab my hand with her paws and hold them in place so she can rub her face on this brush.

Kitten's favorite brush
My "purrever kitten" was so ill as a kitten that her growth was stunted. At 4.5 lbs, it's unlikely that she won get any bigger. She is healthy now but is very sensitive to traditional brushes. This is purrrrrfect for her. She loves when I brush her and even takes over the brushing after a few minutes.I'm ordering another one for my other foster fluffs. It doesn't get alot of hair off of her but I'm not sure if it's because she doesn't have much to shed or what. But she loves it. Therefore, I love it.

Not super effective, but my cat really enjoys it.
My cat is not a fan of being brushed since she generally needs attention with a furminator to really do some good. However, she really likes getting brushed with this and will grab at the brush to rub her face on it and meow at me when I have it in hand until I start to brush her. This brush is not particularly effective at removing much fur, but it gets the surface stuff ok (cat is a medium coat siamese mix, so she's got a dense coat) and the cat really seems to enjoy it so I think it's a win.

Cats dig it, gentle firmness for very short-haired single-coated Bengal cat
My cats both love this. perfect brush for cats with very short hair, as well as cats with no undercoat (my Bengal kitty really enjoys this brush). My other cat is a huge shedder, with thick top and under coats of short/medium length, and he loves it, too. With him, though, the brush is mostly just good for the pleasure it provides the cat and for imparting a lustrous, glossy sheen to his fur—it won't really be of much use as a serious combatant in the Shedding Wars.

Just what I needed.
Small brush with soft bristles. I tried to find something like this at PetSmart and was surprised they didn't have it.I have an old cat who is needing some help with her grooving, and I use this brush with Coat Handler Anti-Static Detangler Spray to keep her smooth and shiny. I have other grooming tools but removing mats and undercoat, etc., but no substitute for a soft brush like this.

The cat would rather eat it than be brushed with it, but...
we're working on that! The cat brush I already had didn't really work for my new baby because she has super fine hair and it seemed to hurt her. So I bought this one. It functions as a brush...no surprises there. I don't think it would get out a knot, but for day-to-day it works well. She does however, like to chew on the bristles A LOT. Better on this one though than a metal one I guess.

Very happy with this brush
Exactly what I wanted. Soft, natural bristles that catch and hold cat hair instead of making it fly all around while I’m brushing my cat. Product exactly as described. Very good quality.

It reeks from noxious lacquer
The brush looks great, but where ever it was manufactured, they used a noxious sickening toxic lacquer on the wooden handle that was so bad, the envelope it was sent in had to be trashed immediately. I thought airing in the garage would help overnight, the next day, the garage reeked. Why, why, why, did they need to use this lacquer??? I am returning it.
