Chair Exit Alarm with Monitor

Worked well for my dad who was a fall risk due to ALS with frontal lobe dementia. Did have a few false alarms when he would scoot down to the edge of the chair. This was a good thing though, because we could reposition him before he was too far down.

Very loud and gets your attention!

Very pleased with this purchase. It gives us peace of mind for our family member with Alzheimer's. When we need to leave the room briefly, we're instantly alerted if they start to wander.

Works good. Is a effective way to know when someone is out of the chair. The only thing I'd change is the cord length we had to place it too close to the person, since they have dementia they were constantly trying to grab or turn the alarm off themselves.

This item did not meet my expectations. There is a slit in the pad and I feel it must have been a return because there was already a battery in the compartment, which should not have been there. It doesn’t work and will be returned.

May well prevent a tragic injury or death. Puts both the at-risk person and caregiver on alert of a risky move that needs to stop. The sensor pad is easily moved from any chair to the bed.
