Cloud-9Cruiser Select Comfort Saddle

I wanted a replacement saddle for my men's Schwinn Discover, and after researching many many saddles, I settled on this one, even though it had no reviews. I wanted one that wasn't as wide ( 9") as a lot of them are, in fact it was hard to find one narrower than 10" (I wanted a bike seat not a bench seat) and Cloud9 seemed to be a well reviewed brand. Packaging was minimal, a cardboard card with the helmet attached with nylon ties. The seat comes with a post mount bracket attached, but my bike has a post mounted rail clamp mount, so I removed the included post mount and all was well. It also doesn't look too out of place when mounted to the bike, as some of the wider ones might.The ride with this seat is amazing, the seat suspension and gel padding buffers any bumps that the front forks don't absorb, and after a four mile ride, I felt none of the sore butt syndrome my previous saddle left me with.The only con, and it's not really a con but an unknown, is how well the lycra covering on the seat will hold up; time will tell.

I absolutely love the cushioning of this seat, but I wanted to use it on my spin bike and the elastomers prevent me from being able to install it at the correct angle. I totally recommend this seat for outdoor bike use, though. Just be warned that it is very heavy.

I’ve been using this model seat for a few years now and it’s my favorite. It’s very soft but yet very supportive. I can easily go on 30 to 40 mile rides and still be very comfortable by the end. (no pun intended)
