These are amazing. No more plastic or root bound plants. It does take a learning curve to figure out how moist to make the dirt. You want it to stick together. Also water from the bottom. It works so much better. I am glad I splurged and I got all 3 of them. They work together nicely and I can see a need for all 3 of them. I already have plants started and can't wait to start more this growing season.

Great kit, everything you need to begin making soil blocks for seed starting (with the exception of the seed starting mix for which you can find a lot of recipes online). The forms or molds are well made and are easy to use once you get the hang of it. Highly recommend.

These soil blockers are awesome and so far I've started seeds and transplanted several into the 2" blocks but it wasn't without some difficulty at first. You'll want to do a modest amount of online research as to what kind of soil mixture is ideal for the blockers and you definitely don't want to use anything too chunky with a lot of large bits of wood or gravel. Also make sure the medium you're pressing into the blockers is on the wetter side. I've found that if you can grab a clump of the dirt and can squeeze some water through your fingers then that is just about the right amount of moisture. If it's too dry it will either not stick inside the blocker or will fall apart once ejected. However, when nesting smaller blocks into the larger ones it seems to work best if the small ones are on the drier side. In all, I'm very pleased with the kit and would have saved myself some time and frustration if I had first done some online searches about the best soil mixture for the blockers.

Well reputed device and manufacturer. Not impressed with plastic mold of the smallest unit. Must be a handsome profit.

Great little gizmos for making seed starting blocks. Easy to use - still working on finding the best soil mix but these little blocks are a time and space saver when starting seeds.

Packaged well but came without the seed pin sets or plastic inserts. Contacted seller and within 48 hours this was resolved!! No worries here, ready to start my soil blocking journey with tools that should last a lifetime.

These work great and are super sturdy but how do these things still cost so much? I can't believe someone hasn't made a cheaper alternative yet
