seems to be good
Looks ok not sure about how accurate it is but as a basic test tool not bad, instructions ok and clear however the test point connector is unclear where it goes. Overall Its good

Fantastic value
A great little project to get your eye in if you haven't soldered in a while. Very well documented, and really quite accurate readouts for such a cheap unit. I use it in all my hobby electronics projects now, and to teach my kids about digital wave forms.

firmware locked, no way to unlock!
Frankly, this is ridiculous. Apparently as an "anti clone" measure, the manufacturer has decided to lock the firmware. The symptom of this? The encoder dial won't work properly, either won't work on some critical menus or will only turn right, and simply flash the screen on turning left. You have to obtain a secret passcode by emailing some random email address, and obviously after 2 days with no reply, I guess they don't care to help out.So here we are. A heap of useless junk. Would advise finding some better use of your time instead of wasting it trying to diagnose a fault that turns out to be some idiotic anti copying idea. Yes, I am slightly annoyed, can you tell?I notice a few other people having the same issue and not realising this is an intentional self-sabotage in the code of the unit. If your encoder doesn't work or only goes "up" and not down, don't blame your soldering. Blame jyetech for their genius ideas.
