SLIP 2000 725 Concentrate Gun Cleaner Degreaser - Removes Deposits of Carbon, Grease, Grime and more. (1 gal)

I own and operate a professional gunsmith shop. We service several hundred filthy firearms annually. I recently switched from a military grade, aqueous base weapon cleaner to Slip 2000 725 Gun Cleaner for our shop's main parts washer. I am so sorry that I didn't do it sooner! This stuff is AMAZING in our parts washer. It actually cuts the powder fouling and lubricants quickly and thoroughly. We wash entire firearm assemblies and simply blow them dry with high pressure shop air. Our previous cleaner wasn't nearly as good as Slip 2000 and it was 50% more expensive and required a $1500 heated parts washer and a microbe eating mat to be effective. In spite of all that, Slip 2000 was 100% more effective right out of the bottle! This product has no odor, it's easy on the hands, low ph, dosent have to be heated to work great and dosent require a high dollar parts washer. I highly recommend Slip 2000 725 Gun Cleaner if you're cleaning a lot of guns or gun parts, it really works well.

Says it will remove carbon...didn't even touch it. Cleaning a used .22 semi-auto rifle that is 72 years old. Have had better luck using simple green in my ultrasonic cleaner. Run 5 - 5 min. cycles and then resorted to scrapping the carbon off. Did a so-so job on removing other grease and crude.

Used a lot of different name brands through the years. Just started using QD for suppressor. The carbon build up is off the hook. Even with carb cleaner and yes even duracoat true strip, my brushes build up and won't come clean. But 725 will take the carbon off. Even brushes I thought were ruin came clean.

I don’t understand the positive reviews for this product. Purchased after seeing many positive reviews, but this product did not perform for me. Used in my ultrasonic cleaner with 50/50 dilution according to instructions (which I had to find online does not come on can) — does not touch carbon and or hard powder fouling, but does loosen up dirt it so it can be wiped clean with a rag. A simple green solution works much better, and is a lot cheaper.
