Yes, it works but NOT invisible...
The statement saying "no red light" is outright false. There *IS* a red glow...and it total darkness it is very visible. But it is far dimmer than 850nm LEDs.

Worked OK, only lasted a few days outside.
Had an OK invisible IR lighting, when it worked, which wasn't more than a few days.

Mislabeled unit?
I tested this out more tonight. My unit is stamped with 940 nm led ir. That is what i wanted. But i see a red glow from all of the led lights. 940 nm led bulbs should not do this. As the description says “no red light.” I believe i got a mislabeled unit. I will be contacting seller. Hopefully they can make it right.Update. Seller wants me to exchange unit for another. But this does not address the issue. Also it is advertised as a 60 degree. But it is labeled as 45 degree. False advertising. Beware, buying these chinese units. Never know what you will get. Buy somewhere else.

Illuminates camera night vision
Makes a difference and is priced reasonably well. I had expected it to come with a power connector and missed the "small print"Fortunately I had one that fit, otherwise it would have cost me another $10 ( then not worth it)
