We recommend our Resin8 Dam Tape! for use with resin and open backed bezels. It's easy to apply, simple to remove and stops the dreaded resin leak. Essential for forming a barrier between an open backed bezel and epoxy resin, this wide sticky tape is the answer to all your leaky resin nightmares. If a residue is left on the cured resin piece this can be removed with warm soapy water (or nail varnish remover) and you can also apply a thin layer of resin (using a disposable paintbrush) over the top to bring back any lost shine.

Does the job perfectly!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This tape is the only tape I like with my resin project and open jewellery. It is easy to remove the tape. Sometimes the tape residue is left on my resin but easily removed with goo gone so it is not a problem at all.

Leaves a sticky residue
Unfortunately this tape leaves a sticky residue even after washing like the description recommends. Not a great tape to use with open back bezels.

very sticky
it was delivered very quickly but I have found it very sticky, it has left a sticky residue which I'm finding difficult to remove. Maybe I left it on for too long. I will try again.

Does the job
The tape did not work to start with, but I discovered it was my fault. Make sure the surface area is completely clean.Only 4 stars as I find it very expensive for what it is.
