Perfect little trees
My trees very healthy and have a very nice root system. I'll be placing an order for more.

Healthy Tree grew from 18 to 35 in tall in 4 Months.
I transplanted this tree into a 3 gallon terra cota flower pot two months ago. It had light & slightly yellowed folliage and small branches (2 to 3 inches). After two months and fertilization (potted giant sequoia food), while keeping the soil moist through multiple waterings per week, the tree has grown 3 to 4 inches upward, put on dozens of new branches that and is nearly a foot accross from branch tip to tip. There is new growth every day. It gets full sun for 9 hours a day on my front porch. I wish I had purchsed more at the beginning of the summer. I live in Colorado Springs.Update: As of 13 Sep 19, tree has grown to 35 in tall at 4 most since planting. Dense foliage and healthy root ball. Can't over water.

Very good
Tree came it is a real tree. It was a small sapling in a long circular box. Came with instructions, tree looked completely fine and I am planting it right after typing this, I have high hopes.

Easy to grow Dawn Redwood plug
The shipping was fast and the good sized dormant tree was healthy. The only thing I disliked was that the upper tip a while back had been broken in the past. I like conifers( trees which bare cones) in which the main top part of the tree is in one piece! The Jonsteen Tree Company really packs the trees with a lot of care. I am satisfied with my purchase. :) I live on USDA zone 7b which is perfect for my new Dawn Redwood. I have put the tree in a 2 gallon pot for the winter.

Healthy
I have been ordering trees from different retailers and by far this was the healthiest tree I have received. Better than expected, given than previous experiences have been so variable.

In Arizona the tree died too hot even with water
Arrived green ,but died think heat was too much

Not a viable specimen
Did not survive. I’ve bought a couple. This is the first to die. Contacted seller. They said to give until spring and let them know. No response when I followed up

Redwoods in Virginia
The color of the bark of a Dawn Redwood is just stunning. I’ll certainly be adding more of this variety to my forest.
