I have crazy thick hair. I’ve been putting it up in a crown braid so it doesn’t end up drowning me in a mass of tangled brown every day. My hair clips frequently give up. They hurt, they pull, they can’t hold my hair. I use three whenever I’m putting my hair up into this style. These work! They are not pulling, they aren’t slipping, and they are decent looking. The grip seems nice and tight. Since I lose hair clips so often I can guarantee that I will be ordering these again.

It's so hard to find quality clips in this size. Most are either the tiny ones or the larger type measuring at least 2 inches. Not much available in between those two sizes.Based on the reviews here, I recently ordered 3 packs using the coupon for a discount on multiple packs. These clips are even nicer than I expected. The quality is excellent. They were exactly what I had been searching for, all without success until now. I really like the round octopus design for root clipping my fine low-density 3a/b curly hair. Used all over my head, my hair volume just explodes in size.I must have more of these wonderful clips. That's why I just ordered 3 more packs. Had the discount on multiple packs still been available, I would have ordered even more.

Oh I am so pleased with my purchase. They're strong and sturdy. Just what I hoped for and I love the colors! I have a hard time finding a good medium sized clip. My hair is very fine and very long big ones are too heavy and break my hair small ones don't hold enough and my hair breaks them! I took a gamble on these ones because they were the cheapest in the category but it paid off handsomely. I found my forever brand for clippies :)

These are good for thick hair, but the minute I opened the pack and took the first one out to put in my hair, it broke. So I am not too happy about that. Besides that, they come in very handy when I section my hair for hair styles and blow drying.UPDATE: Around 3 months after I first purchased these, they are now all broken. I rarely ever say this, but I do not recommend these clips.

Long, thin (but thick) hair has resulted in many purchased “clips”. These are great! They clamp and hold all day - granted you have to hit the right spot on your scalp - if it feels like its pulling, I move it around until it mostly underneath the hair if you know what I mean. Sort of like picking your hair up with your hand twisting it in a knot and holding it at the bottom,under the knot instead of holding the knot at the top. Sorry, that’s all I can come up with as a “how to”. I love em!

Hard to convey with the pics, other than size, but you could tell that the plastic and the spring are good stuff. Finally, something that will last a while.Update. I stopped using these because I think they're too strong, and so maybe not be good for my weakening hair.

These clips are great. They're a simple design, strong, hold my abundance of heavy hair, and haven't chipped or broken yet. So far, so good.Update: I've had these for several months now. One did break dropping it but the rest are fine, and I use them and mess with them every day, all the time. I would definitely buy these again.

I bought both small and medium of these clips. I was afraid the small one would be too small. They aren't They are perfect. Before I lost half my hair the medium ones would have be great, so I will pass those on to my daughter. I love these hair clips.
