Sargent Art Flexible Clay White, 500 g

This clay is packaged with 3 different wrappings, the last being plastic wrap. It's an odd clay to work with because 1.) it does not stick to the hands, however it sticks to everything else 2.) If using a silicone mold I highly suggest following another reviews advise and put it in the freezer for 10-15 minutes otherwise you won't get it out of the mold 3) it is flexible once dry and it does dry translucent (at least the ones I did are) which is pretty cool. 4.) It has a different feel to it than regular clay, it's smooth to the touch. and last 5.) you cannot sand this so once out of the mold you will have to take scissors to trim any excess but that is easy to do and it cuts nicely. Overall the molds came out with the detail I was wanting, I will experiment more and see if dusting the mold with cornstarch will help the release. I would recommend giving it a try as I think this has many uses and will be handy to have in my supplies.

I liked that the finished piece came out with ease and great detail. I used my fingertip dipped in water to work it into the mold while smoothing it out. Left it to dry and popped it into the freezer for about 15-20 minutes and it released very easily. I would suggest letting it dry completely then pop into the freezer. I will definitely purchase again

This material is very soft which makes it very easy and pliable to use. The only downside is that because it is soft it lacks a lot of strength so using an armature underneath the clay is advisable. This is great for creating flower petals and leaves and thinner artwork. It remains flexible after curing that is a big plus.

The media could not be loaded.  I made a test wing over 2 months ago just to see how flexible it stayed when it dried, especially on a thicker item. At first, when it dried it was a bit stiff but the more I moved it the less stiff it seems to be. It will work wonders for the custom figure I am working on! There is just so much I can use this for. I Love it!

I still have my flower creations from 2 years ago, that I had used this clay. I had to purchase more this year..you can use the same technique as with gumpaste. I really like this brand.

I ordered one package of this clay and loved it. It moulded perfectly, was flexible as I needed it to be, but made crisp clean lines from the mold...it was everything I wanted clay to be...so I put it on subscribe and save so that I wouldn't run out.The second batch I received was weirdly sticky, didn't dry properly in the mold, parts of it dried opaque and other parts dried clear, and the end pieces were just absolutely unusable.Frustrating, because I really loved the first batch.So, not sure if i just got a bum batch or if there's a serious quality control issue somewhere, but i'm hesitant to order more from this same company now. :(

good product, does not break

I'm making some molds and require the pieces to be flexible once dry. This product looked promising because it is firm enough that I can create several pieces quickly - but once these are fully dry the pieces just don't have enough flex for the project I'm working on :(

I was excited to find a clay that remains flexible when dry. Unfortunately, I can't leave a positive review. While well packaged, the medium stuck to the cling film it was wrapped in, resulting in a fair amount of waste. Despite putting cornstarch in my moulds (Prima and IOD), the product did not separate from the mould. I had better luck making my own polymer clay but I really wanted something that would not crack when dry and could be manipulated to mold around objects. I ended up mixing it with my homemade clay and hopefully I will get halfway decent results. I won't be buying this again.
