Not for YFZ 450
Ordered this in a rush and did not look at reviews! This does not work for the yfz 450. The switch is backwards like everyone else has said. Waste of my time!

Ignition is backwards
If you’re installing in a YFZ the ignition on/ off position is backwards. You have to repin the back of the ignition for it to work properly.

Yfz key ignition fails
The media could not be loaded. Second one I buy ND it comes with the same problem ,key release is backwards when it supposed to be of it won't release the key ,and when it's on key would come out , if your riding in tuff terrain key would probably fall of with vibration

This wont work on the yfz450
Plug is the same and switch seems to be the same but as soon as you plug this the lights turn on with ignition off and no starter and off with ignition on

fit good
fit good but it was reverse on my yfz 450. I had to de-pin wires and switch them 180 from each other

Don't work on 2006 yfz 450
I seen the reviews saying you can re-pin it, not mine. Just don't waste your money and buy an oem switch this is just a waste of money. switch is backwards inside the switch itself or is just junk.

No 2012 yzf450 quad its backwards.
Did not work for my Yamaha yfz 450 quad once installed off with no key was on and key In turned on was off. Contractors are backwards. Made on off, not made on on.

It's ok
You have to switch the wires opposite side at the connector ,for it to work right.
