Hard as hell to put together. The instructions are weak at best (and are completely complicated and convoluted in imagery). We got it together, but it definitely requires glue. Don't glue unless you're POSITIVE you've put it together correctly (we didn't use glue, but it'll easily fall apart if you don't glue it together).

Your instructions are simply a picture of all the parts with letters at each joint, so DO NOT REMOVAL ALL PIECES AT ONCE. You will need to keep each in the board until it's needed to keep track of them all. Glue was definitely necessary. We tried to go without any but there's no way it would stay together without some joints being glued. Overall it was fun to build with my train obsessed 5 year old even though most of the assembly was above his ability. I would say a kid should be age 10 or above or at least have a lot of patience for their age. There were times I ran short on it.

My son loved the puzzle and it was a hit as an addition to his class project on trains! Some parts were a bit off but all in all it looked good!

Beware the size is not accurate! the size indicated is 9.85"L x 7.5"W x 4.33"H. The actual assembled size is about 8.75"L x 3"W x 4.33 H. The pieces were also not cut properly. The wheel holes were too small to fit around the axle. I had to cut about 1-2 mm off the axles with an knife for the wheels to fit. Also, on one of the roof pieces the hole was cut a few mm off. I had to cut that piece as well. Lastly there was no piece of sandpaper that the instructions said was included with the puzzle.That being said once it was painted and glued together it looked nice. So if you don't mind the smaller size and the possibility of making your own modifications then it is a nice wooden train once assembled.

The assembly directions need a little more besides "punch out pieces and match numbers to numbers." Ohterwise, with adult help, my 11 year old grandson was happy with the model.

Bought this for my husband who has dementia. He enjoyed putting it together and painting it.

Vorneweg: Die Räder drehen sich nicht richtig. Das war aber klar, als ich das Produkt erworben habe.Die Lok war für meine kleinen Kinder gedacht. Sie (5 und 8) sollten ein bisschen "Fingerspitzengefühl" für's Basteln bekommen. Dafür ist das Produkt gut geeignet. Allerdings konnten sie es nicht ganz alleine basteln.Die Teile sind passgenau gewesen. Heißt im Klartext: Es mussten keine Löcher vergrößert werden. Einzig etwas Leim war nötig.Die "Anleitung" ist etwas dürftig. Allerdings ist es nicht zu kompliziert: Man muss halt sehen, welche Zahlen zusammengehören und - in Zweifelsfällen - auf das Bild schauen.

Die Lok sieht erstaunlich gut aus und ließ sich auch gut zusammenbauen. Die Anleitung war leider etwas schwer zu verstehen, doch nach etwa 10 min habe auch ich kapiert, wie es funktioniert. Ich glaube nicht, dass ein 8-järiger diese Eisenbahn so leicht hätte aufbauen können.(Aber das ist ein anderes Thema)Ich habe mich jedoch ein bisschen geärgert, als ich gesehen habe, dass die Aufdrucke auf den Rädern total schief waren. Man kann es zwar retuschieren, indem man die vorderen mit den hinteren Rädern tauscht, es war trotzdem nicht so schön.Sonst ist es ein super Produkt.
