Motex E-303 GREEN Emoticon Embossing Label Maker

A really simple label maker with two wheels of nicely styled characters. Great for household use, reliable but not intended for heavy duty use.The tape provided is a great starter - sticky and unmarked. I'll be buying more soon!My only other minor criticism is that there is no blank character for inserting spaces - you need to unmount the wheel to advance the tape with no character.

I bought this to label a chaos of plugs under my desk that I regularly misidentify, and I had some serious doubts it would do the job - but it did.If you are using plugs that are flat and smooth you get good adhesion; if you are using plugs that are curvy and have a rougher surface the labels will still stick, just not as well.This thing is cheap, and it worked for my purpose, but it is that useful that I wish they did a higher spec one in metal. If there was such a thing I would buy it - defo.

As someone with small hands it's not often something fits so well in my hand, but I can understand how this may be problematic for other people. The tape isn't super adhesive, but if you're crafty, a little bit of glue & intuition will make sticking your embossed label onto anything quite possible. I've also noticed a few comments in regards to it breaking upon first use and such, and I'd like to note that it is a small, manual mechanism, so it shouldn't be expected to withstand heavy handling. I've used it dozens of times for a variety of things and it's still as good as new.

I bought this to replace another one that I had, the larger type that looks more substantial but broke after a short period. As for this one, I`ve got through serveral rolls of print tape now and it`s still going strong so I`d recommend this over the other type for sure

If you like the embossed look then this is great. It's time consuming but if it's only for the odd label here and there then you're not scrapping around for batteries or buying expensive tape. Definitely got that cool retro look
