These hose do not appear to be hose; they have more of a sock construction and are not as tight as my black compression knee highs. I find them unsuitable.

The stockings work like a dream: they fit with no bagging at the ankle and they actually keep my leg swelling under control. I had no trouble getting them on--but I sit on the sofa with my leg bent and the knee resting on a pillow so that I have a good grip putting them on the foot and over the heel. They are not the most attractive things I've ever worn, but they WORK. Just out of the package, they look like woven oat meal. Once they are on, however, they just look like heavy stockings. One of my friends was surprised to learn they are support hose. These would work for a man or a woman. If you wish to camouflage them, just wear them under socks or dark tights. I washed them in the washing machine, but put them in one of those nylon laundry bags. They held up just fine. I've already ordered additional pairs and I would certainly give them as a gift for a friend.

My doctor told me about EvoNation support hose when I complained that the knee high support hose that I usually buy are about three times as much. He showed me the page on Amazon where EvoNation support hose was displayed. So far, I have worn them for only three long days, and they were as good at supporting my legs as the more expensive brand that I had been purchasing. They are not, however, as sheer. I will be buying more of these especially for everyday wear, if not for dress. I also was on the small/medium border with my old brand and went up to medium with EvoNation which fits me as well as the small in my old brand, so if you are on the border between two sizes, maybe, choose the larger one in EvoNation. These are worth a try, because they are relatively inexpensive.

Exactly what the surgeon ordered after taking measurements of my calf. Medium size with 20-30 compression. That is exactly as they are advertised!! I am using them for post operative leg swelling following vascular surgery. Love the nude color and the ample toe space. I have hammer toes and this sock does not irritate them. Because I have hand/finger arthritis it's a bit difficult getting the sock on, but I'm sure I'll get better at it

I bought these for a little firmer compression than a previous pair I had tried. Super happy with the color, fabric, length, and compression, but the seam is right on the edge of the toes. I can manage, but it would be super annoying for some! On the plus side the compression doesn’t start until after the toe area, so the seem isn’t tight against your toes and you have toe wiggly room! Overall very happy and ordered another pair :)

These are really old lady socks. They're thickly woven and difficult to put on. But boy do they work! My ankles didn't swell while wearing them and my legs felt great by the end of the day. These will be the socks I wear with long pants since they're not that flattering. One hint: follow the pictures showing how to put on the socks rather than the description of the action.
