Practical and super cute!
Cute, practical journal-style notebook to jot down reviews or reflections about books you read. Personally, as it was slightly different than expected, I am using it as a book log in which I write my favorite quotes from each book.

Not so great
I have no idea why they call this a Bibliophile's Journal when it's nothing more than a regular journal with lists of award-winning books in the back. Yes, it's cute, but all the other bibliophile journals I have had designate a couple pages for each book, i.e. there is a designated area to write the book's name, author's name, date you read it and your thoughts. Not this book. Nothing but lined pages with a couple of cutesy drawings of what I guess are supposed to be home libraries. I was going to give this as a gift to an avid reader friend of mine, but am returning it instead. Just depends on what you want.

Lovely book log
I was looking for a simple book log for my niece after she admired one I've been keeping for 20 years. This one was just right: compact, pretty and full of simple lined pages (plus a few bonus pages for favorites as well as award winners). There are others out there that are nice if you like to record a synopsis or your own reaction, but she and I are simple girls and just like to list title, author and date.

This is not journal size. Just be aware. However, it has many cute little nuances. What a great purchase!

Ein tolles kleines Büchlein
Wer Buchtagebücher liebt, der kann sich dieses hier kaufen.Die Seiten sind frei gestaltbar, man füllt nichts aus. Das hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Ich konnte meine Kreativität ausleben. Tolle Sache!

very good book journal
The journal is beautiful inside! Every few pages you get a water colour painting of a reading spot and at the end there are lists of prizewinning novels! Highly recommend this for any book lover who wants to keep track of their reads! :)
