I have followed the youtube instructions and installed the protector on a perfectly flat/levelled surface. As soon as I placed the protector over the screen, the liquid started to move sideways quicker than up and down. The liquid didn't reach the top and bottom of the phone; it flowed sideways outside the screen area. Long story short, the protector did not glue to the very top and bottom of the screen. I have wasted the protector therefore there is nothing to return. Not sure if I got a deffective one and not willing to buy another. Also the cleaning proces was quite difficult as there are no instructions or info on what does it contains exaclty.

I have to re-write my original review (I originally gave it 1 star as I was unaware of the UV glue and reluctant to use it) after 6months of using screen protectors that popped off and had glue on the edges only, I decided to try this screen protector. And it blew me away. No gap between the screen and the protector means that there is less annoying miskey moments and the screen reacts as though there isn't a protector on.I recently had the screen protector lift on the bottom corner, so I contacted customer services who sent a replacement out and I have just used it. The first protector lifted off without any residue being left behind on the phone and the back of the protector glass was only a little tacky.If, during the application process you get any of the glue on the side of the phone you can wipe it off with the screen cleaning alcohol wipes and the residue is gone.

I have applied 13 of these over the time I've hat my mate 20 pro, and ive personally applied all of them.Pros:-high quality glass, scratch resistant,-behaves like the actual screen of the phonez-doesnt bother the fingerprint scanner,-alings over the edges properly (as long as you position it right),-comfortable rounded glass edges (so you dont get scratched or cut by the screen protectors edges while holding the phone)-all the tools to apply it are there, including gloves to protect you from that uncomfortable awful oily glue that pours and spills everywhere (place something under the whole process so you dont mess everything up)efficient UV lampcons: everything about the glue.the tube in which the glue sits, its designed to unscrew the lid at the same time ripping the plastic tip of the tube to let out glue, but that doesnt happen every time. you have to use scissors and its a pain. you risk losing the glue.the glue itself has to be properly and thoroughly scanned by the provided UV lamp otherwise it will not hold it properly, it will start peeling off at the slightest touch on the edges later on. even when making sure to follow the instructions, its a lottery to get it to actually hold the protector on without maintaining its moisture under the protector screen, and it detaching later.a recent problem ive discovered, last time i applied it, after drying it, the glue started giving a grainy texture on the screen, visible while screen is on, it makes it look as if theres oil on the screen, so you can visibly see multicoloured grain as if it was oil on it, except its Under the protector, which doesnt go away.Please continue to develop the glue, until the glue wont be properly efficient, i cant give 5 stars.

Having recently picked up a Mate 20 Pro I quickly ordered a Spigen Neo Hypbrid case and some screen protectors.My phone's get taken everywhere with me and often get bumped in to things and knocked around. Luckily I've never broken one but I take the time to ensure they are suitably protected without going to the extent of the LuvMei stlye cases. These days it seems harder and harder to get good quality protective cases and with curved displays even more so for screen protection.The Spigen case seems perfect for my needs and I'd tried a reliable brand screen protector and tempered glass. Their glass was far too small and the protector, while feeling nice and easily installed, was just big enough to get pushed off by the case.A quick read around on XDA and reddit lead me to this item. I've always been a bit unsure with anything that involves pouring liquid on to an expensive device like a phone. Being sure to watch the video a few times, and repeating the sections as I did them to make sure, the whole process was fairly straight forward. Everything you need is in the box and I found with mine at least the curve of the screen only means you have to worry about it's vertical positioning.I was a little uncertain at one point as it appeared to have a large bubble (maybe uncured adhesive) in the middle of the display under the UV light. However, after going over the whole screen a good few times with the light nothing appeared to change.In use after the screen is perfectly clear, finger print recognition is just fine, the feel of the glass is very good, and the phone now feels fairly safe against any unwanted damage. And on the plus side you've no fear of the protector ever moving out of place like some do. I'd certainly use these again if I needed to.One thing I would note is the glue, it spreads extremely well and quickly reaches across the whole screen. But do take the time to really clean your phone during (when instructed) and after the process as it can get quite messy. It has a very pungent odour too but I guess that's just the nature of such adhesives. While you're not handling it for too long just try to minimise the amount you get on yourself or your work area.Overall I'm very happy with the result. Might even go back and do this with my old Honor 9 and MediaPad 5 10" if such glasses exist for them
