I searched far and wide for the Rosetta Stone that I could put on our bookshelf. It does come with a piece on the back to hang with, but I went and got a frame holder from hobby lobby for $4 and it is exactly what I needed. The quality of this product is fantastic and you can’t beat the other prices that are $75+. You can feel the texture of the writing on this piece, it is fabulous for any history or language lover.

I am very pleased with this wall sculpture. Purchased as a decor item in a set of bookcases I recently installed. It has good weight to it, the lettering has a reasonable level of detail for a display item. I used a Gibson wire display stand ordered from Amazon to rest it on. Would recommend.

I've wanted one for so long and Amazon made it possible! This is indeed a miniature replica of the Rosetta Stone, found in Egypt in the early Nineteenth Century, which was deciphered by experts who showed the link between Egyptian hieroglyphics and ancient Greek (with an intermediary script linguists call "Linear B"). A subtle way of saying "I love languages." Up close, it looks a little too bright and modern; but at a few feet's remove, on my little picture wall next to similar-sized art reproductions, it looks great -- vivid yet ancient. I have had my eye on this item for quite a while to go with my Egyptian collection. To me the weight of the item weighs more than two pounds, it felt closer to about five. I suggest use a heavier nail to withstand the heavier weight.I included two pictures. The first is of the item itself and the second is to show how it compares to scale.

Beautiful replica. I was a little annoyed to find out there's a felt backing on the rear of it, and a hanging hook built in.Was hoping it was just a flat back so I could display it in a rock collection.Amazing detail though.

Nicely made replica, clear enough to show a type of character, but not readable as such, as opposed to a squiggle line. I have displayed using a plate stand, as opposed to hanging on the wall.
