Great Loud Siren
Easy installation. Added it to my system so I could put the horn style outside. Very loud for inside home. Good product.

Does the job
So i have Samsung Smartthings which does not have a siren or alarm system, after reading some of the comments here i decided to give it a try as i needed something to sound when there is motion or door contact is open. I also bought a compatible smart switch to plug the siren in. Many people suggested changing the siren configuration to utilize other sounds available but i did not bother. You will have to create new automation in your smartthings app to make this work, i created two scene, one to sound when motion is detected and another to switch off the siren from app, that’s all you need. Sound is loud enough for my 4000 sq/ft home and you can hear it from every corner. However, comparing with your standard alarm company sirens this one is not loud enough, but it does the job and i am happy with it.

It's a siren.
Compared to the older version, this one has more surface mount components and is a bit more sensitive to noise on the 24VDC siren power feed. This means if the line is unshielded and next to power it can create noise at the siren. A simple noise filter solves that issue. Just something to be aware of. It's every bit as loud. The mounting holes are exactly the same as the older unit and can use the same hardware. Device does some with drywall expanding anchors and screws. Case is identical on the outside.

Works well
Doesn’t come with wiring so you’ll need to figure that out. I just split an old 9V AC/DC adaptor and attached it and it works well. That gets plugged into a smart outlet so it can be controlled with an app. I’m sure the 9V charge isn’t filling its potential for volume since it’s built for 12v but it’s still loud enough that it’ll scare someone away from our driveway.

Load, small and OEM!
Scored on this deal! NOt sure why, but these were listed at $14.99/ea. I figured they were chinese knock-offs, but what the heck! if they work... Nope, these are actual OEM Homeywell units and they are LOUD! These are good for indoor use and they are smaller than the 700 series sirens. They will even fit between wall studs! (See photo) They also dont draw much current so yo can put more than one on the alarm counder circuit without additional power. And they dont have a wiring harness you need to deal with. its direct to a screw-clamp terminal block (3 Position GND, Steady, and Warble) They do need their fully rated voltage however Anyway, these are great!

Loud but loose internal connection
Nice and loud but the interface you clamp the power source to on mine needs jiggled to make it work.

It just works
Got the Honeywell WAVE-2 Siren and it's honestly a game-changer for my home security. This thing is super loud, which is exactly what you need to scare off any unwelcome visitors. The best part? You can switch up the siren types easily, so it never gets too predictable. Plus, hooking it up with a smart plug was a breeze – it fits right into my home automation setup. I'm really happy with this buy. It's given me an extra layer of peace of mind.

Excellent and VERY loud!
This is a very loud siren 12 volt DC to be used for smoke or intrusion alarms. I used this with a Konnected hard wire alarm system upgrade for an old 35 year old alarm system. I ended up installing one in client's basement and one on main floor. THEY ARE VERY LOUD. Each uses less than 0.5 amps (500mA)

I added this to my WYZE Canada Home Security Monitoring System because no siren was included. I set some rules to trigger the the WYZE plug I plugged this alarm into. The experience has very good. Very satisfied with it

One of two support anchor point is broken. This may not impact the performance, but this define the poor quality of the product. Disappointing :(
