Downstep from previous models
I have 2 EIZO 27", one is Eizo EV2336WFS3-BK and this one from the review. I prefer the FS2736, and for obvious reasons:Brightness (AUTO) - my old FS2736 was good in this terms, it was possible to run it all day. The brightness in the evening was lowered automatically, and during daylight too. The 2780 also has the auto setting, but is by far not as satisfying as the old EIZO. I have to adjust settings daily, which is quite annoying. The autosetting is keeping the brightness to low, so if you use it, you will realize it is too dark to use. So, although you can adjust settings in the AUTO EcoView, the results are disappointing. I would not recommend it.Buttons: On my old screen, you were able to switch the INPUT with one single, mechanical button. Now they changed it, and you have to press several buttons:1) Press Button to show button bar2) Then select INPUT button, several times until you reach your desired input channel3) Select OKOn my old screen this was done more efficiently. To come to an end, the design looks nice, but I honestly prefer the Eizo EV2336WFS3-BK. It is simply perfect, but as I needed a second screen, and the Eizo EV2336WFS3-BK is not produced any more, I was forced to acquire an other model... Eizo should focus on the past, on things which were working nicely. No need to reinvent the wheel... :(Considering the enormous price of 1000 Pound (nuts!), I can only give 2 stars. My Eizo EV2336WFS3-BK was I rememeber half the price - and I prefer the picture quality of it much more! I got it via WHD, so I have paid not even half of this price.
