I bought it to be placed where I don’t have WiFi, so this review is for the camera operating on SIM card, which costs me $20/mo. I’ve had it for two weeks testing at home, and I often can’t connect to it live. More importantly, so far I couldn’t get it to send a single alert or record a single clip (SD installed). Maybe it needs WiFi to do this, but if so it’s useless for me as I have Zmodo and Arlo on WiFi.

You can tell a lot about a product by the packaging I have found. This product has the type packaging I expect to see from companies like Apple and Amazon. Everything is well packed and well presented. It actually comes with a power adapter too, which many don't these days. The printed instructions are detailed and well written and are actually big enough to read without a microscope. It has motion detection capability and actually tells you when it detects a "humanoid". The base allows you to till the unit almost in any direction to get the perfect area to capture for your needs. The non-slip base lets the camera sit perfectly on any surface without moving. In the box are two mounting devices if you want a more permanent setup. The red disc is a 3M type adhesive pad so you could "glue" it to a wall or other surface. The metal disc is a magnet that has a hole to screw it to a surface and it sticks very securely to the bottom of the camera base pad. This would work great to attach to an irregular surface I would imagine.The audio and video quality are quite good and it comes with free cloud storage for what seems like 15 seconds of recording for each motion activated clip. You can also insert a micro-SD card for on camera recording. Once I was able to scan the QR code on the unit it went right into my WiFi and did not give me the warning about 2.4gHz only as most cameras seem to. I understand that it has cellular capability but I don't have a 4G card for that so can't tell you how that might work. Overall I find the product very attractive and quite functional and would definitely buy it again.

I wish I could I could write a better review for this product, as it has so many great features, but so many bad ones too. I have had this device for a month now, and there is way too much to say, so i invite any questions and i would be happy to answer. But the ultimate reason for my low rating is the device's (either the device or the phone app) connectivity and ability to access it "live" while on the 3G/4G network.In short, for the first week i had this device connected to wi-fi network, and worked great, in all regards. However this is not impressive as there are many other cameras that are solely wi-fi network cameras; cheaper and with greater reviews. The main purpose for buying this camera was its ability to use a SIM card and connect to the 3G/4G network.For the last 3 weeks, the device has been connected solely to a 3G/4G T-mobile network, with great signal strength, on a 6GB data plan. Using the app, the device tends to disconnect itself. During this outage I cannot connect live nor does it send me alerts. Sometimes, the device reconnects after some time has passed, other times, its remains disconnected and i have manually delete the device (via the app) and reset (and in doing so, i have to be presently there with the device, not remotely). This defeats the purpose of having a remotely installed camera. Because this main issue, I give this a one-star.

My place does not have a Wi-Fi connection that’s why I bought this camera with 4G SIM card inserted in there, I need to pay monthly subscribtion fee for that line in order to have a connection, But it never can connects to the internet, first I thought it’s my Sim card had a problem so I went to T-Mobile twice to change the Sim card, But still not working, I give up, I don’t recommend this item at all and called manufacturing nobody ever respond to my question, I was lucky be able to get money back because I get help from Amazon.

Very convenient! Video effects are not bad! With it, I finally don't have to be afraid of being stolen!

Great camera, easy setup and configuration.Works with both WiFi and 4G as expected.

I like that WiFi connection and binding is very easy.

Won't work anymore.
