Great day vision and performance NOT so good night vision
Yes, there’s something with the IR emitters in this camera that makes the night vision not so good. I was able to position mine without any reflections but don’t experience this with my other cameras. I positioned it about 20ft from a side door up in my roof overhang at about 45degrees. I do have a good downlight over the door which helps with night vision. If you don’t have any artificial lighting you probably won’t like the night vision. I set the night mode to color. I’m very happy with the night vision movement. It’s hard to find a camera in this class that doesn’t give moving objects at night a useless image. The menu options are minimal. I only paid twenty five dollars on a used warehouse deal. Seems there have been many returns. I’m more impressed with the night vision movement so I think I’ll get another. BTW the day vision is excellent and performs as good as my other 5mp IP cams.

Huge difference, Great picture quality
So I was asked to upgrade a camera broadcasting live from one room into a TV in another room. I used 12V to power this camera.The picture quality was outstanding and the night vision is great you can see for a long distance with out losing the qualityHighly recommended

Bad night vision
During the day the picture are good. But at night the leds reflect back into the lens and everything looks blurry

Poor night vision
Night vision is very poor. Day picture is great, but contrast has to be set so high for any kind of night vision it ruins the picture.

Picture quality
This is the first cctv camera I have ever bought and I must say I am very glad I did I have always been leery of anything that is tech but very pleasantly surprised at the ease of the set up the picture quality is outstanding and the night vision is very cool This product has made me and my family feel very safe.
