The only way to improve this book would be to double the number of designs because I love them all! Each design really speaks for itself. There is something here for everyone from complex and fancy to simple and elegant. My only disappointment has been having an injured finger that has prevented me from diving in and tackling a new design every weekend since this book was delivered. My only criticism is that the book should include a description of tilting your scrollsaw a few degrees to create perfectly fitting inlays for box lids that don't require ugly wood filler because there are no gaps between the pieces. Of course, the drill holes always need a tiny bit of filler. Overall I would buy this book again in a heartbeat.

OK, but mostly impractical. It takes more time to make these items that you can get selling them, with the exception of the clocks.

Found the projects to be just OK. Nothing fantastic, nothing which contributes to the 'wow' factor of a project. Would recommend as a library book for reference

Love the book and content very doable.

I'm glad I bought this book.I found this book useful as a boost to generating ideas of my own. I found the two designs for vases a little restrictive as they use a specific size of test tube as the actual flower holder which I had trouble sourcing. Having said that, a little adjustment to the measurements meant I was able to use the size of tube that I did have, and then go on from there to design my own vases.Overall a good comprehensive guide to the use of the scroll saw with projects for all abilities, building up from the basics to more complex designs.

Book arrived quickly, but quite disappointed with the content. Shown to woodworking friends, and they agree. Would seriously consider this as not being worth the money....and I hate to put down an author who tries, but.....

This got me sorted for Dad's xmas; he loved it just what he needed to produce more carefully crafted gems.

Die englischen Bastelbücher sind einfach top und kaum zu schlagen. Ich kaufe mir diese, weil sie soviele neue Ideen beinhalten und auch wenn man kein "Englisch" kann, reichen die Bilder meist aus, um das gesehene nachzubauen. Ich würde das Buch weiterempfehlen.
