If you have pet stains and smells, you must use cold water or you will set the stain and the smell. You can use hot water afterward. Some people may need to replace their carpet padding depending how untrained your pets are. That being said, I was able to get rid of old pet smells and stains by first using a ratio calculator to get the right amount of product per gallon of water. Second, I cleaned the carpet. Third I got a scrub brush with a handle, sprayed the solution on the troubled areas and scrubbed. I did another pass and allowed the carpet to dry completely. No stain, no odor and the carpet was softer. I used it in the laundry on some all purpose rags that can't seem to get white again after bleaching. Perfectly white. People with poorly maintained carpet will need to put in more elbow grease or might even need new carpet. It's carpet shampoo, not a miracle. If you've tried everything and nothing works, the problem is your carpet.

Works great on all car carpets

This is by far my favorite product in the lineup. And the strength of the concentrate provided allows you to use small amounts of the product for long periods of time! I typically dilute 2 oz across 2.5 gal of water and experience amazing results. I use a soft drill brush for agitation, allowing 1-2 minutes of soaking with the product before agitation. After agitation, straight to my extractor, and the results speak for themselves. I’ve never had such high quality results so consistently before.Quick disclaimer. Please do not dilute this product less than the instructions on the back of the jug. If you’re thinking a particular stain is tough, spot treat it with 3D’s green APC. There is no need to make the dilution levels stronger than the manufacturer recommendations. For spilled house paint (pictured above) it took me two passes, each pass following after with a steam gun.Thank you 3D for another great product! Will be back soon!

Pretty good solution, It doesn't foam too much which is good. Seems to leave a pleasant smell that isn't overpowering.

I was skeptical that this product would work because I would not be using a shop vac as an extractor. Do not freight! I had a small portable bissell machine and it did the job! Realistically, you will have to do several passes, HOWEVER it’s gets the job done and breaks down the dirt seamlessly. I would suggest spraying the area with the solution and then scrubbing the area and THEN shampoo the area. This picture here is one pass with an initial scrub to break down the build up. Trust me! Buy it!I also brought the enzyme solution, however it did not come the same time as the carpet extractor but I can only imagine the results when combined

I would rate this 5 stars because I’ve been ordering this for years and was amazing! But the last time I ordered one it came green. I thought it was a mistake so I ordered another. It was green also, either they made a mistake with the wrong chemical or they changed it and they need to update the picture.
