Now THIS is a heavy duty lamp!
This lamp was purchased for detailed assemby work and burns 8 hours a day, 5 days a week in a working environment. It's light is bright and focused (as opposed to a flood lamp), can be easily pointed with it's long goose neck and won't tip over due to its heavy base (with a rubber ring instead of rubber feet underneath (nice)). The grounded power cord is plenty long and the switch is very positive. This product will last! Watch out for weak sisters: You get what you pay for.

You get what you pay for
This is one of the few times I've gasped when unboxing something. I read the other reviews, but it's even nicer than I expected. It's very well designed and should last a long long time. It isn't quite as exceptionally bright as I'd hoped for, but is plenty bright for most work.
