Rat caught, Job done!
Easy to use and functional. Used peanut butter as bait and placed one trap in the kitchen and the other in the basement. Was a little concerned the trap might be too small. But it caught the pesky rat on the third day. Job done!

Wish I'd read other reviews before purchasing
These are pretty useless. Absolutely useless for mice as the mice get in, eat the food and get out again. Problem is also that with rats, they may catch the rat, but the door/mechanism is really weak and the rat was able to bust out of it and escape. Don't usually leave bad reviews and wold rather just say nothing, but if you're looking at this product it probably means you have a problem with mice or rats, and I wish I knew these details before purchasing this item. Get something else in my opinion.

I hate leaving bad reviews but they didn't really work for me. I installed a cctv to see exactly what was happening. The rats have eaten what was inside comfortably and various times without the trap closing. It did close once but ONLY when 2 got into the same one. Disappointing.

I caught a rat!
Easy to set up & use. I knew a rat was feeding under the bird table & I caught it in 3 weeks. Prior to that I caught 3 mice which I didn’t know about

It doesn’t work on mouse
It says it is a mouse trap but it is not! The weight of a mouse is not heavy enough to trigger the trap. I put blue tack to give more weight but it still didn’t catch any mouse. I don’t believe anyone who said it can. On the other hand, my snap trap caught a mouse but I really want this to work and it’s annoying that I spent money on something that plainly doesn’t work as described.

Amazing Product
Works like a charm. Caught two mice in two days and released them at the local nature reserve.

No good for mice
Bought two of these as I was unsure what creature was scrabbling around. Have since seen the mouse. Mouse had used these as feeding stations without setting off the mechanism. Ended up feeding mouse rather than catching. Described as ‘humane mouse trap’ do not buy if you know you have smaller pests.
