Fins are incredibly light and stiff! I surfed them is small mushy beach break and it was hard to get initial speed and drive just because they seem to want an open face to really push off of. I also surfed them in some punchy head high beach break and they really shine in those conditions. If you can get one big pump off the jump they will slingshot you over any section but you need some room and power in the wave to really get these puppies flowin. You can push as hard as you want on these fins knowing you wont slide out. Id definitely recommend these fins to a better surfer that is more on the power spectrum of surf style, or someone looking to hold critical lines in the tooob.

I expect a much better finishing. The set I got looks far away from other FCS high quality fins I have, these have finishing fails, they don’t look good at all. Don’t know if its only this set, or if they are original, just cant tell. But this wasn’t all. This page says now “Al Merrick's tri-quad (5 fin) template designed for radical, progressive surfing.” And for my surprise, they sent me a 3 fin set instead of a 5 set. Hope they fix that.
