Uploaded photos to show all the fandoms and recipes in the book.As you can see, the fandoms are really scattershot over several different venues. I was surprised the drinks section is about... A third? Of the book. And the larger portion is alcoholic. That was a let down as I was expecting food recipes.But the ones included look awesome. Lots of them don't have a picture of the product, so you have to go off the ingredients. I really love the Zelda recipes and want to make all of them like the Elixir Soup, But if you're looking for Hunger Games or Game of Thrones or Harry Potter, I'd suggest buying those cookbooks because of the limited selection in this cookbook.Rating: 3 stars. While it has a few unique recipes I love, like the Zelda soups and figgins, most of the recipes are popular enough you could find them online for free (peeta's cheesy rolls, sea salt ice cream, sansa's lemon cakes, etc) and the lack of photos for many of the recipes makes it hard to want to make them.

I bought this as a gift for my geeky son, but I couldn't help but look through it myself. What a fun book! Christmas morning was halted for a bit after he opened this gift and stopped to look through the recipes, the contents, and search through to see if some of his favorite geeky characters or foods were referenced, and the look on his face when he found several that were in there. This was a hit.

The recipes include chocolate salty balls inspired by South Park, butter cakes inspired by Silent Hill. I plan on making my own Twinkies, I'll be using another recipe from the book inspired by Bioshock for Creme-filled cakes. I bought the book for my daughter's first cookbook for the new home she & her partner are moving into, he loves her cooking. Now, she can make geek food for him. Happy Geeks are wonderful.This book is easy to follow, and there's something to be said for cook books, as opposed to online sites. Sometimes, it's wonderful to have a book. Being a tactile person, I like to hold my books.I highly recommend this book for fellow Geeks, or those that have Geeks in their lives.

I always wanted to cook fictional foods and drinks from numerous geek-centric IPs and this cookbook finally makes this a reality. I still have to get the proper ingredients necessary to do the recipes and when I do, I’m going to be cooking up a storm with these recipes!

Really fun and good cookbook. I love how many different fan bases this appeals to. From Hunger Games to Harry Potter to Narnia to Zelda to Star Trek and so much more! I’m gifting it to my newly wed sister and her husband, and with such a range of recipes, I’m confident they’ll both find recipes they’ll be excited about. I just hope they invite me over for some Cauldron Cakes.

Not only are these recipes outstanding and imaginative, but are written in a witty, endearing manner.Cassandra Reeder doesn't know it, but we're best friends now.

Bought as a gift for a young adult who is trying to very eager to try new recipes and is also a self proclaimed 'nerd'. She was thrilled and they all hunched around the book looking through it and getting excited

Fun recipes and themes. A little too heavy on video game references for my preferences, but she had to walk a fine line to achieve her goal.Some of the recipes need tweaking for medical diets, but that's true of ALL cookbooks.

I bought this for a colleague's Secret Santa gift, and also for my brother and sis-in-law. Both parties were really pleased to receive the book, and so far, my brother has enjoyed making Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster cocktails. He described the taste of that cocktail as "a fancy G&T". I saw the book as something fun, to tell the fanboy or girl in your life that you get them, and to give them a chance to enjoy a bit of silliness while making drinks or dinner.

Bought as a gift for my friend who loves to cook and who is of course really into all the shows this book offers recipes for! He absolutely loves it and I’m so happy I bought this for him! Can’t wait to sample the goods when he does them. Great book filled with superb easy recipes and definitely worth the money! Arrived quickly, well packaged and is great quality. Very happy!

Bought this as a present for my lad's 13th birthday. Warning though, it contains alcoholic drinks, I've made him make me some and now I have no clue what he's doing in the kitchen.

Bought as a xmas present for my other half. Slightly differently bound than other books but very sturdy and well made. Love the content as we are geeks. Contains blue milk from Star wars and harry potter butterbeer so great recipes and ideas.
