Allesin Blackout Roller Shades Window Shades and Cordless Blinds for Home & Office, Black, 36 x 72 Inch

These are definitely the easiest window installation I have ever done. I mounted inside the window so a little light leaks around the edges but I expected that. If you mount outside window frame you will get true blackout. I love the gray color, it’s almost silver. I also love that you can position the string anywhere you want - left, right, center or anywhere in between.

I wish they had 1/2 sizes. I bought one too big by like 5mm then had to go an inch smaller. The top as they state has a gap as well. It is not total black out for this reason. If you want a perfect fit you will have to pay more as it is it works ok.

These were very easy to install and look great. They do stand out from the wall a bit more than we had hoped (we have them mounted on the outside of our window frame), and unfortunately, they don't retract easily. It takes several tugs, sometimes with the blind reaching its absolute maximum length, before the blind retracts. These will do for now, but we'll be seeking out a higher quality blind when we tire of the excessive effort required to get these to retract.

I purchased 5 36" X 72" black roller shades for a male teen Christian ministry game room. The items are well made and look good. They also block out the sunlight and as I put each one up, the heat in the room dropped measurably. As these were to be used in a boys' game room, I did not trust the screws supplied by the vendor and purchased Tapcon 3/16" x 1-1/4" concrete anchors (the room is painted cinderblocks).

I’m old and very hard to start screwing things in to hang the shade. I just wanted a shade to put in existing holders. So it’s still in box and will cost to have someone put it up for me.

I think this product will be fine. Installation instructions s little lacking. I think there should always be a phone number for the seller and now I will be more conscious of making sure there is one.

Shades are good quality for the price. Shades came with screws to install. Four screws were needed to install, but the package only came with three for each shade. Luckily we had extra screws at home to use. Also, small plastic piece at bottom of shade continues to fall off when we pull shade down/up. Overall, ok purchase and decided to keep as they do keep the sunlight out well.
