Works well - I’ve been looking for a good barometer for years! This is a beauty, very well made and works great! A beautiful addition to our coastal home.

I looked at this product previously, read some pretty harsh reviews which have since all vanished(??). I really liked the looks of the photo so I nordered it anyhow. I was totally impressed with it! I calibrated the barometer using the instructions and tool provided, it keeps very accurate pressure readings, the temperature also seems accurate. Honestly, it looks like something that should cost much, much more. I would buy this again, I think it is a great value.

The one thing I do not like about this is that the needle mechanism has too much "stiction". This means you need to tap it to get the needle to move to its true reading, a feature I would rather not have. Otherwise, it is fine. It is attractive, it has a range that makes sense (I can hardly see the use of a barometer that goes down to 26" when most of the time, it is between 29 and 31"). This is calibrated mostly in that range. The humidity and temperature gauges are a plus, and they are fairly accurate.

Got my Barometer yesterday, set it up. This morning it does not register the change. Called the distributor, answer a couple of questions and they are sending a replacement. Point of the story, things happen and what makes things of value is if the company stands behind it. No hesitation in their part. Will rate customer service 5 stars, will follow up with product quality latter when I have something to report. Thanks. Oscar RamerBarometer part II. I like it, I love it.I was trying to get one last yr. but allways sold out for the one I wanted at my price, now I have the one I wanted and a larger diameter, I think.But make sure Lily you check that the second gold hand does not hit the barometer hand.No biggy to me, I can take it apart and fix that, and other than that it works perfect.Yaaa! hooo! now I know when to go fishing and if I should venture out on a bad day with low pressure present.Wish I could buy a nice huge one because of my sight, and the gold rolling around in my pocket that I don't have.I guess I had better go to the eye doctor and get checked out again.I have always been into the weather Like my Dad was, now I can be.Thanks for the deal Lily.May God bless you and your Family.Later Sid

Hygrometer (humidity) read about 20% RH low. Confirmed this by comparing to a quality reference hygrometer with verified calibration. Removed the plastic weather station from the wood ring (the metal tabs simply popped out), then used the damp cloth wrap for two hours, this should result in 98% relative humidity RH, this unit was 20% RH low. As a qualified professional technician, I found no way to adjust the hygrometer on this weather station. The barometer is adjustable via an easy access calibration screw on the back (not sure on the rated accuracy), the instructions say you can calibrate, but there is no practical way to do that. Note the hygrometer has an very bad tolerance of +/- 9% RH. Also, one of the photo's shows the face in silver metal, mine was the preferred antique brass. It is not the easiest to read since the crescent moon shape on the base of the barometer hand obstructs the relative humidity scale! The looks are very deceiving! DO NOT BUY (except as movie prop or wall decoration)!

The barometer calibrating screw is hopelessly sensitive with big jumps at the slightest movement.

I have many weather instruments. This one is one of the better ones I have. I know customers have had problems with this, but I must have been one of the lucky ones to receive a beautiful piece that came undamaged and quickly. Looks great in the bedroom and it seems to be accurate.

The barometer is beautiful but is calibrated as mmhg and the weather channels are kpa so it is time consuming to convert and try to predict my migraines which is why I purchased the product.
