Works well/Good looking
Works like a charm with my siphon coffee maker. Nice looking, too.

Solid, easy to use design. Great for Siphon pots
Really heavy, nicely finished burner. The polished finish matches my Hario and Yama siphon tea/coffee pots. It has a nice nonslip rubber bottom that stayed put even on slick granite counters. The handles and knob are black plastic. The black flame protector is also plastic and comes up above the flame, so definitely safe for keeping fingers out. It fit perfectly underneath my 20 oz Yama siphon pot (that’s the larger of the sizes offered). No need to crank gas up to highest setting. Seemed to get the most efficient flame for gas ration a little past halfway.I made sure to use camping stove butane, NOT lighter fluid butane. This makes a big difference! You can find the camping style butane in the Camping/outdoors goods section of Walmart. Costs about $9 for a can the size of a hairspray. Save yourself a lot of headaches and don’t use the wrong butane.Flip it upside down to fill. Don’t rest it on the igniter! Once full it will overflow slightly at the base. The burner was very consistent. It didn’t flame out. Took about 3 or 4 minutes to bring very cold water to a boil. On it’s very first use, it did take three tries with the igniter to light, after the gas had a chance to start flowing. After that the lighter worked more consistently on the first try.I also bought the Ivation burner. Here’s the comparison. The Bottom of base is nearly identical to Mr. Torch. However with the protective flame cover Mr. Torch is a snug fit under the pot. The Ivation does not have a removable safety flame cover. Personally I doubt I’ll use the cover, but if this was outdoors or windy the cover would probably protect the flame. Mr. Torch is entirely possible to easily operate one handed. The Ivation model has a safety button you push in before it lets you ignite it or start the gas. Can be done one handed. But it’s a bit more fiddle. However it gives you peace of mind that the gas is fully off. Whereas Mr Torch just rotates to off with no lock position to signify its fully closed or preventing it from being bumped into an on position. If you have arthritis or weakness in hands, Mr Torch is probably the better choice. Functionally they were both about the same for heating. Mr Torch has a full pattern burn design. Whereas the Ivation has more of a stove style circular burn ring. I have not used them long enough to see if one burns more gas than the other.

A cute burner for turkish coffee
This is an attractive burner that gives you perfect control when making turkish coffee. The stand however looks cheap and it is.Don't use the plastic shield for the burner; mine caught fire.

DANGEROUS: DO NOT BUY
Used once, regulator immediately malfunctioned to highest setting, turning the entire burner into a blowtorch. Singed the hairs on my hand slightly and nearly set my house on fire. DO NOT BUY.

Great burner. Uses a lot of butane
Love the size. I tightened the screws on the stand and dropped a dollop of wood glue on each one so they wouldn’t become loose. They always became loose before I did that. It’s much better now.
