Okay, it's sticky! Not sure what's up with the sticky park, because mine fell off a couple of times. When it falls have fun getting the lint and dirt off! I finally sprayed it with Windex or something and it all came off. Just make sure it is pushed up firmly against the clean windshield before you lock it in place. The tang is about the poorest design around and often SEEMS like it's locked onto the detector BUT it's NOT! If you don't want your $600 detector crashing to the floor, double check each time you lock it on there. Like it is the ONLY mount for the Passport MAX, so you don't have a choice. It is also pretty much impossible to connect and disconnect the thing when properly positioned on the windshield. The workaround is to angle the tang downwards, lock the detector on, then position it and tighten the locking screw. Reverse for releasing. Actually, everything to do with the Passport MAX is trash, including the nonexistent customer service, BUT the Passport MAX itself will pick up signals waaaaay before any other detector I have even seen. You will be wondering what made it go off until you come over the hill, or go around the corner, or have your binoculars on the straightaway! Drive safe!

Escort 360. I should have bought this years ago instead of using superglue lol which made permanent drops on my dash. Btw superglue comes off the windshield easily with a razor blade scraper. The Escort 360 is still the standard and even detects pop up radar.
