Worked perfectly for my drafting table project!
I ended up using two brackets, one on each side of my table top since I went with a 48" x 32" x 7/8" piece of wood. It works out really well, for the most part I just lift the table and it latches in to place, sometimes I need to pop the one of the two hinges into place (this wouldn't be an issue if you only use 1) and then I lift the back of the table top slightly and it releases so I can lower it flat without having to mess with the hinges.I would definitely recommend these to anyone making their own drafting table!

Solid platform
With two, they make a stable platform which is easily adjusted.
