Embark Pets Zion Dog Rope Collar (Extra Small/Small, Navy Blue)

My fiancé and I bought this collar in October for our miniature Labradoodle. We really liked the style of the collar and it seemed to be holding up well until today.We had Reggie, a 30 pound labradoodle, on an outdoor stake and cable system in our yard. He extended the full length of the cable and it restrained him for a second before the metal piece that hooks on to his collar broke right through the leather that it was sewn in to. At that point, Reggie was free to run the yard. Luckily, we were outside to make sure he didn’t go anywhere. For this reason, I would stay away from this collar. It is a nice looking collar but does not hold up to even a medium size dog applying pressure to the collar. This could result in a dog running free in a bad situation.

I like the high quality of the "Embark" products.The Zion collar is really nice looking,the rope has a nice touch and the leather is really soft. It comes in 2 colors, I chose the navy blue, both are great colors.We got the size xs/s for our 25/30 pound shiba.I also have the Zion leash, so we go in style and matching on our walks!

Love the look of this collar, and the matching leash! The xs/small fit our dog perfectly (we have a 25 Ib mini Australian shepherd) and I especially love the leather trim - it's a very classic yet sophisticated look. We'll typically use this collar/leash set for a day around the town rather than on a hike.. although we love the look of the buckle, it is a little more time consuming to get on/off our dog (we always remove his collar when at home). Additionally, the ring is a little small and makes it more difficult to attach his leash. Other than that this is a great product and our dog seems to love it too!

My dog is a little over 20 pounds and very fit. I measured her neck to be 12 inches, but the collar ranged for neck sizes of 12.5 to 15.5 for an extra-small/small. I decided to go with it because I hoped maybe it would be just small enough to fit comfortably on her neck without being able to pull her head through. Unfortunately, that is not the case. However, this collar is very well made and the color is beautiful. For anyone looking for a more simple, outdoorsy collar, this is it. Even though this collar didn't fit my dog, it is a great quality collar. It is a bit heavy though.This is a great collar, but not for small dogs. Measure your dogs' necks before buying!

It broke!! Thank goodness we were in my fenced yard. I could have lost my puppy! We had it for less than a month when he lunged and it snapped. He's 27 lbs for reference. Do NOT recommend!It didn't look worn or frayed, the leather part just snapped.

It looks wonderful. Haven't used it yet - going to be a birthday present.

This collar is soft, elegant yet rustic looking, and functions great. I feels strong and sturdy so I trust my dog wearing it while walking her along a busy street. Although I ordered the smallest size and have it on the smallest hole, it is still too big for my 18 lb basenji. The shape of the strap also does not allow it to tighten on the smallest hole. But it looks great with the matching leash!

I bought a size xs/s for my puppy and it’s humongous. I’ll be a fine collar when he gets bigger but the sizing of this product is off. I also have to really force it into the last wrung because the holes don’t line up. Kind of a waste of money.
