I have a cat that eats too fast and often regurgitates her dry food. This has helped, but not 100%. It's very small and even though it has small rubber pieces on the bottom, the bowl can still slide, so I place it on a mat. More for small cats, kittens and Yorkie-size dogs.

Much water has a tendency to eat entirely too fast and this little dish has been amazing to slow him down. Any larger dog than a 2 hour I don't know would be able to work it, it is small but for my use perfect

Great bowl for really small breed dogs. Ridiculous that the price has tripled. When I bought mine in April they were $4.99 each. I bought 2 for 2 Yorkie puppies.

I purchased this bowl for my cat to prevent 'scarf and barf' and it really slowed her down. She still eats too fast, but it has helped - I just can't fill it with too much food. No free feeding here.

Slowed down the gobbling.

Slides around the floor while they try to eat, would be nice if it had rubber or sticky pieces on the bottom.

It a bit hard to use with my knife and fork but it definitely make me eat slower.

We bought this for our chihuahua who eats his tea way too fast and is starting to get rather chunky!! I’ve heard good things about slow eating bowls and thought this looked like a good size bowl to try him with... he took to it straight away and has increased his eating time from less than a few minutes to at least 5 which is really good for him as he was making himself sick eating so fast!I would definitely recommend to anyone with a chihuahua or similar sized dog/puppy5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

while I love my cats....they can be the most frustrating little demons ever!one of my cats eats really fast as she is nervous the other cat will steal her food and this lead to her throwing up every meal! we tried everything feeding them in different rooms, at different times even feeding a little at a time but she still ate way too fast and not 5 mins later threw it back up. I gave this bowl a go and while she didnt want to eat out of it at first (as picky cats will) we just kept feeding her with it every feeding time. it took her about 2 days(6 feedings) to just accept it without complaint but now she gobbles up her food a lot calmer. we also got one for out ofhter cat to slow him down too just to give her some space. since we got the bowl not 1 time has she thrown up. honestly a life saver no more cat vomit to clean up!

Excellent product. Works really well for small doggies with little teethies. Slows my Alvin down at breakfast and dinner, and he no longer throws up after his meals.He had one of these slow feeders before that was gifted by a colleague, but the gaps were large and far between. It didn't really slow him down.This one however, the gaps are small, and the peaks are high. Alvin is working hard to get to his food, and now takes about 3-4 minutes to finish his food. In his old slow feeder, he was probably done in 90 seconds.Construction wise, it's solid. Has 4 non slip feet at the bottom that raise the actual plastic off the floor so it's sturdy and not sliding around. The sides are slightly angled to create a wider base, and prevents it from tipping over.Very pleased, it does the intended job and that's all I ask for.

Design of the maze in the bowl works - slows our very greedy cat down effectively. He inhales food in a normal bowl. He can be slow to figure things out (unlike our other cat) but it only took a few goes and lots of persistence from us in ignoring his cries for food in a different bowl. Three days and he’d realised a different bowl isn’t coming back.However, there’s a fatal flaw in the bowl design - it’s too flat and low to the ground. Cat couldn’t eat from it as it is. As soon as I raised it on a platform (about 5cm high) he could eat. But this isn’t practical, it moves around, falls off. I tried gluing but the plastic the bowl is made from needs an industrial adhesive as it’s very slippery (low surface energy) so I haven’t figured out a way to modify the bowl for permanent use. Shame these bowls aren’t available in raised design, as other cat feeding bowls are, since it’s known that a higher bowl is better for their digestion and feeding. FYI: cat eats biscuits only, so this review isn’t about wet food in the bowl. For the price we’ll take it and figure out a modification somehow.
