Finally we have an author writing about the learned art of coaching; specifically, how to coach archery. This follow up book to "More on Coaching Archery" provides even more guidance about this fine art. As a professional educator, Steve goes into the reality of how, when, and even "where" to coach. Without saying it, he makes the reader well aware of how important it is for anyone teaching or coaching to first "learn how to teach" and also to "teach how to learn"; both essential elements for progress towards the goals and objectives of any teaching/learning process. In my opinion, this book isn't just for "Coaches", it would do great service to archery students as well. It will give the student a lot of insight into what the coach is "up to" and also give said student more confidence that their coach really does know what he/she is doing.Kudo's to Steve Ruis for what should be another winner; just like one of his other books "Winning Archery". I rate this as 5 Stars and an essential element in any coach's (and student's) archery library.

Gems of wisdom for the emerging, or struggling, Coach.
Good read for coaches recently trained. And, probably for those who are struggling with their coaching. Most of the articles are expanded reprints from Archery Interchange if the coach is a subscriber but this may save the searching of back numbers unless a fully cross referenced index is to hand.
