There is nothing wrong with the red LEDs - user error on the part of the other reviewer
I'm writing this review to correct the other reviewer who thought 80% of his red LEDs were faulty.The forward voltage of the red and yellow ones is 1.8V-2.3V which is typical for these colors of LED.The forward voltage for each color is clearly shown in the product description, and also on the packaging of the LEDs (see first photo).As you can see in the second photo, my red LEDs seem to be working just fine. Please excuse the washed-out color in my rather poor photo. The LED is a nice ruby red in real life.

Lots of 3mm LEDs for a great price
I make a lot of projects that use 3mm LEDs and this is perfect for getting an assortment of different colors.

Not as bright as pictures indicate
I liked the color variety. Unfortunately, what I bought them for required much brighter lights than these.

Used for paper circuits in my classroom
I used these in a 5th grade classroom to make paper circuits, they worked well and they’re cheap enough each student could make their own to take home.

Very nice. Great price and great for breadboarding.
I've been using them for a few weeks to display values a 24-bit bus and I've had no issues with them. Also work great for low voltage on a couple of 555 clock modules. I would recommend.

We bought these for a class project and would very happy that every light worked perfectly. Love the container which keeps lights sorted. All lights arrived undamaged.

Not all the bulbs could be used in the same project for school so I ended up with a bunch of bulbs that I had no use for
