REVIEW OF "MR. RIGHT NOW"
This is a gospel-inspired play written and directed by playwright David E. Talbert. I became interested in the play because of actor Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs. I absolutely loved this play! All of the actors were just great! The singing and music was good. Again, Mr. Hilton-Jacobs did not disappoint; and it was great to see him involved in a gospel stage play that involved some humor! He is such a dignified actor and brings such intensity to the characters that he plays, so it was great to see a little humor related to his character. I would recommend this play to anyone who enjoys Black plays, or who is a fan of David E. Talbert or Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs.

This is one of my favorite movies. When it first came out on DVD years ago, I watched it and was so excited that I could buy it for my kindle to watch over and over again. The storyline is fantastic and will carry you through a roller coaster of emotions. Sadly, two of the people passed away, but they did some powerful performances in this video, the Mom and the Pastor.

I discovered David Talbert's works over a year ago and with this play I became a convert! Mr. Right Now is an incredible play that will make you laugh,cry,feel Angel's hurt and angish but above all else...leave you spiritually blessed. One has to personally experience this stage play...it is wonderfully rich in casting and in the message. I truly watch this dvd over and over again. The singing talent is outstanding.Any play by play review that I might write would never do it justice. I can only encourage others to do the RIGHT THING and buy Mr.Right Now....NOW !!!!

1ST PLAY I EVER WATCHED
I SEEN THIS PLAY FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIGH SCHOOL AND RECENTLY TRACKED IT DOWN TO WATCH IT ON DVD IT'S THE BEST PLAY EVER, I LOVE THE PLOT LINE AND THE MUSIC, MUSIC IN PLAYS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN IMPORTANT TO ME.. SOME PLAYS JUST CAN'T PULL ME IN AND THE MUSIC DOESN'T HELP. I LOVE THIS PLAY... WONDERFUL! OH, AND I LOVE KESHA EALY SHE IS THE BEST....!

All women must watch!!
The story line was great and it dealt with issues that most or a number of women faces at some point in their lives. There are a few good men out there but most women just over look them for the bad boy figure who is not good for the good woman.

the play was fantastic.I would highly recommend this play.It's a couples play for date night ,girls night or just for one.It's a play that's great to watch.and One word say's it all Fantastic.All the performers were outstanding.Bravo to them and the writer and directors. I watch the play over and over again alone and with my husband.He even enjoyed the play.

Close to home
A great threatre play that tackles sensitive subjects in a brilliantly put together manner. The singing is great, acting is well done and the story line is execellent. A must see production, that reminds us that when you play in the Devil's backgarden you will get hurt. Women are reminded, that which looks good may not be good for you! And, that which looks smooth on the surface, maybe hiding a wealth of problems that will cost you a lot. Must see play.
