Ikea 200.554.21 Lampan Table Lamp, White

I love this little lamp 🥺. It’s so cute, lightweight and doesn’t take much space. It makes my room feel very cozy. I plan to use it as a night light. Was suppose to buy this from ikea but it was always out of stock in my area. Decided to just buy it for double the price off of Amazon but I have no regret bc it is cute and compact and has a switch on the side that I can use to easily turn off the light at night.

I thought I'd give my opinion, since everyone else seems to have not many good things to say about this lamp. Yes, its plastic,and yes, its inexpensive in price. Personally, that is just what I was looking for when I found these lamps. I now own four of these lamps,since I like them so much. I bought mine to use in my camper. I wanted something that would not break when traveling and I like the fact that they are enclosed, so it keeps the bugs from getting inside of the shade,making a mess to clean up later. Yes, the lamp gets kinda' warm since the shade is enclosed, but its not hot by any means. Certainly not enough to ever melt the shade or lamp. Maybe the reviews that complain about it getting hot are using a bulb with a higher wattage than the 40 watt recommended? Ok, so it doesn't come with a bulb. Everybody gave it a bad review because of that? Seriously? WOW! I purchased a package of ten E12 bulbs here on Amazon for $9.95 (Pack of 10) 40 Watt Clear G16.5 Decorative (E12) Candelabra Base Globe Shape 120V 40G16 1/2 Light Bulbs So yes, this is not some high end, fancy lamp. It puts out enough light for my needs. It may be not enough to light up an entire room, but this is a relatively small lamp to begin with. If you want a lamp with reasonable light output, and is inexpensive, then this lamp should fill your needs. Where else can you find a lamp for this price? I am more than happy with the Ikea lamp!

This little lamp has been out of stock and unavailable for delivery near me, but still worth it at double the price on Amazon. It's so small and stylish for bedside — the shape is just perfection! Takes up to a 40W equivalent bulb; any bulb with a candelabra base will do. My first lamp arrived cracked above the cord notch, but a replacement showed up the next day.

Funny story. We were staying at a cottage near Bar Harbor, ME, and there wasn't a table lamp on the table we like to sit at. Since we were there for a week, we just ordered one of these, which are simple and work great. For about ten bucks we had no problem gifting the cottage with it, and anyway we'll be back next year. We did miss that it needs a bulb, but were able to pick one up at the supermarket with no problem but you might as well order it at the same time. I was looking for a small lamp I could put in my 2yo's room. This turned out to be an excellent fit:1) it doesn't get more than vaguely warm to the touch2) the switch on the cord flips easily enough that she dan do it on her own3) I won't say the plastic is necessarily unbreakable, but the lamp has been knocked off the bookshelf twice and the shade hasn't even popped off.4) it plugs in, which means she can't leave it off in a corner somewhere to chew up all the batteries in the house a few at a time.5) despite its size, it pits out a good amount of light - enough to turn a dark corner into a reading nook.The one big downside is that it uses proprietary bulbs, but it's a cheap enough lamp (and the bulbs last quite a while) that I don't really mind. I may also resort to packaging tape to hold the lampshade on if necessary - it just pops together, doesn't lock or anything - but my toddler hasn't gotten at the bulb yet so I'm seeing how it goes on its own first.All in all, an excellent lamp for a nursery or child's bedroom.

Can't find any lightbulbs to fit these lamps, even though they were marketing on Amazon with a pair of lightbulbs - nothing fits them. Not nightlight bulbs, not regular bulbs... I was at a total loss.The lamps themselves are super cute - so I was really disappointed.

Great for my classroom. Cheap, yes- I like this though, in case it gets broken or knocked around by my students- small investment. Small, also, however, it provides just enough light to read by when the classroom lights are off (for my desk), and it doesn't take up much space. What I like most (possibly what some people might not appreciate as much) is the fact that it's entirely plastic and entirely enclosed. The shade is plastic as well as the base, and the shade snaps in place over the bulb to close in the bulb compartment. The switch is located on the cord of this lamp. Does get warm, but not too hot. It's perfect for a classroom that gets dusty quickly (How is it that schools are so dirty!?).Bought GE Lighting 17730 40-Watt Candelabra G16.5 Globe Bulbs - they fit perfectly and less than $3 (Add-on item).

These little lamps are great. Be aware though. They do not take the "regular" kind of bulbs advertised along with this product. They take narrow based bulbs (also advertised with the product but way too expensive. Cheap ones available at any home supply store).

Perfecta, lo único es que debieran de incluir el foco cálido. Tuve que ir a IKEA por uno.

Be careful when buying. Needs bulbs with very thin base

Very cute and light weight

Excellent quality but this is not suitable as a reading lamp because the bottom of the shade is closed and the shade glows from the sides which is the only illumination we can expect.
