I'm writing this review 4 years after purchasing these baskets... and I can report that even though it came as a 2-pack, I've never needed to use the 2nd one (I don't even know where I put it), as the one we are using is PERFECT and looks as great as it did 4 years ago!!! No rusting, no break-down - catches everything you need and would fit a wide range of drains! LOOK NO FURTHER, THIS IS the ONLY ONE YOU WILL EVER NEED!!

This is so different from any other one that I have bought. First of all, it's not a thin cheap mesh. It is a strong metal! The slightly bigger size makes it amazing! And the fact that you can pick it up by pinching the little lip they put on it so you're not sticking your finger in whatever it's collected is maybe one of my favorite parts. I have bought these over the years and can't say I've loved or hated any of them. I definitely wouldn't say I was impressed with any of them. This one..... I feel like whoever created it really understood what all of us wanted in the first place!The reason I wanted one is because I now live with a septic system and I'm really afraid of getting food to go down the drain and this works perfectly.

This is my third attempt to cover the drain in my new kitchen sink with something that will work. Since we are on a septic tank, I need to stop things from going down the drain -- and I need what stops those things to be easy to clean. This is perfect!My first drain stopper, put in by the construction guys, was old-fashioned -- not in itself a deal-breaker, but it frequently rotated by itself to the position that stopped up the sink and backed up all the water. So I went looking for a replacement. I came up with a fancy thing that when it clogged allowed you to push down on the center handle to drain more water without letting debris go through. The problem with it was that it was very difficult to clean because you couldn't get the debris knocked out of it and cleaning it with any implement required a lot of jiu jitsu.So I purchased this little simple one with high hopes. I love the little tab that lets you lift it out of the drain without prying anything under the lip. I've had no issues with it floating around in the drain, or letting debris slip past. It seems to work perfectly for me, unlike comments from some other reviewers. My drain opening is just a standard size, nothing special.Anyway, excellent value, loved the little brush they sent to clean it if something ever gets stuck. Recommend highly.

This sink basket is very well made and heavy duty. It comes in a 2-pack with a brush to clean it. The holes are very small and nothing gets through them. It’s nice looking and doesn’t look cheap. I have an Insinkerator garbage disposal that I use it over. I measured the opening before purchasing this product and it was supposedly the right size. Regardless, it is just a little too small for my sink. It moves around a bit and sometimes small food particles get through on the outer edge. It’s is only about 1/8 inch that I’m talking about. I would purchase it again because it is very heavy duty, looks like it won’t rust or tarnish, and is priced well. I’m happy with it, but wish it was a bit larger to cover the sink opening and not move around.

Very well made and Brilliant design, so simple but can be wrong if not made correctly, this is one that was designed and manufactured correctly. Much heavier gauge steel where all the others I've had were relatively flimsy and would allow food particles underneath plus they were too big so you would have to remove the grading to remove the screen. This is absolutely perfect. Has the little tab so you can pry it up it's just well thought out for being such a simple thing it's amazing how well it works. I am recommending this to everybody I know as this is a game changer for not letting food go down the drain and clogging pipes.

After many years of the mesh strainers that come apart & skewer your fingers I found these!! They have been in my kitchen sink 24/7/365 since 2020!!Not a speck of rust & the mesh is 100% intact.The little tab makes it very easy to lift out especially when it’s full after a big meal. I just tap them on the inside of the garbage can, wipe of residue of cheese etc, rinse every time & wash with soap & water if they get “gunky”.Just buy these 😃I highly recommend these-you absolutely cannot go wrong.

This sink strainer was purchased to replace one with a stainless steel screen. It was stainless, but the window-screen-like stainless screen was really hard to clean and eventually got so dirty and gunked up that it was pretty awful. This new strainer is different -- it has a stainless steel plate with holes in it. The good news is that you can actually easily clean it, even getting melted cheese off of it pretty easily. The bad news is that is might need to be dumped out (not necessarily cleaned) more than once if you have a lot of dishes to do, since it doesn't pass water quite as rapidly as the "screen" versions do. But that is more than made up by the fact that after a good while, it looks as good and works as well as the day we got it -- something I can't say for its predecessor. Overall, this was a total win for our sink!
