Skechers Mens Cessnock

My son ordered these shoes for work, and he has done nothing but rave about these shoes!! He is on his feet all day long, moving quickly from one space to the next and is unbelievably comfortable. These shoes provide him with great support to his foot and ankles. It tends to be difficult to find a good pair of shoes for him that fits nicely on his wide feet and soft and comfortable for him to wear all day long. Sketchers has done an amazing job providing him with arch support and being able to take his foot in and out multiple times while still feeling like it was the first time he put it on. If anything falls on his shoes, he can easily wipe it away, and come home and clean them up where one would not able to tell the difference afterwards if they were new or not. Sketchers has done it again, with providing a great shoe that not only looks great, but provides a comfortable fit every time, and enough thickness to avoid injury if something drops on the floor for him to avoid injury. Sketchers made a great shoe and Amazon provided a great price!!!

This is the third pair I have purchased. I run a kitchen and wear these everyday I work. I bought one pair and wore them over a year and then purchased another pair. I made the first ones my work around the yard shoes. My plan was to do the same once I received the new ones. I now have three pair because the first ones won't wear out! They are a wider shoe so my feet don't feel squished. My feet and calves feel much better at the end of the day. The shoes are pretty nonslip. The only time I have worried about slipping was on glare ice. They aren't the warmest shoe to wear outside in the winter, but they are nice when working in a hot kitchen. They clean easily. I have dumped spaghetti sauce and other things on them and they cleaned right up. They feel comfortable and have good support. I usually add an insert after 6 or 7 months of wear. They slip on and off quite easily. It is nice not having to worry about tying shoelaces while working, or any time. They go with anything, dress, casual, even shorts. I really can't say enough good about these shoes. I am so pleased with them that I have been tempted to buy several pair and just put them in the back of the closet. I would hate to come to purchase a pair and find that they have been discontinued.

shopping for shoes online sucks. it took us 6 tries to find the right size. but im glad we chose these. i love that they come in wide sizes, and they were on sale for $60, which i think is an ok price. adjusting to the new type of slip on laces was strange at first but easily adapted to. i was worried theyd stretch out or not be tight enough but have not had any issues. they felt a little tight in the top of the foot near the ankle area, but sizing up even a half size they were too loose. so theyre not terribly comfortable, but not a pain to wear either. i just bought some dr scholls insoles to go with them which helped. im 6'1", 260 lbs, and a mens size 9.5 wide. i work retail sales floor 7 hours a day 4 days a week and also wear them as my every day shoe. i would reccomend them.

Great fit and very comfortable. These are the best non-slip shoes I have owned. They did not hurt my feet when I was breaking them in, they are easy to clean, and provide fantastic support. I have been using them every day for months and have yet to see any sign of degrading. These are very durable, and a great value for the price. Easily the best non-slip shoes I have ever used.

I was looking for a shoes to wear around the house for doing chores. These shoes are perfect. I can slip them on and off. It is comfortable and it fits perfectly.

I purchased this shoe as well as a pair of the Skecher Afterburn M tennis shoes. I wanted a dedicated work shoe, because I was going though my shoes pretty quickly from wearing the same pair all the time. So, being that I had already had two previous pairs of the “Afterburn” shoe, and burned through each of them in just over a year respectively, I decided to get another pair of them and also get a pair of the Cessnock Food Service Shoe strictly for work. Both pairs of shoes arrived yesterday, and today I wore the Food Service shoe (FSS) to work for the first time. I slipped them on and found them to be a perfect fit. They are very light weight and comfortable. Usually, I find new shoes need a few days of wear to break-in until they really conform to the shape of your foot and then begin to fit well, but that wasn’t the case with these FSS shoes; they fit perfectly the moment I put them on. I wore them all day at work and discovered something that really surprised me. We had a snowstorm today and got about 2” by the time I got to work, and had a good 7” by the end of my shift. I park outside so of course I have to brush the snow off the car. After doing so I knocked the snow off my shoes before getting into the car. I was surprised to see that the snow didn’t stick to the material on top of the shoes, it was as if there was a water repellant in/on the material. I was sort of wondering why my feet weren’t getting cold while I was cleaning off my car and I guess that explains it. Another surprise was the fact that these shoes make no sound when walking on a tile floor while having wet soles. The “Afterburn” tennis shoes squeak like a rusty hinge when the bottom of the shoe is wet and you walk across tile or other such surfaces, but the FSS’s, are quiet as a mouse, not a sound comes from them, you could almost call them Ninja shoes. As for the style, well that’s a personal preference and these shoes suit me just fine. I think they look sharp, and nobody even noticed I had a new pair of shoes on today. Durability is the unanswered question and being that I’ve only worn them one day, that question will remain unanswered for a while. If I can get a solid two years out of them, just wearing them to work, I will definitely buy them again and certainly would recommend them to a friend. I hope this review helps with your decision. This is the second time I've bought this pair of shoes, Skechers Cessnock, because I needed a pair of shoes that are reasonably priced and reliable to cope with my busy kitchen work, and it didn't disappoint me! The material is easy to wipe clean, which is convenient for cleaning up the inevitable stains and spills during work. The shoes are sturdy but not bulky, and the anti-slip effect is also very good - even if there is oil on the floor, it will not slip. The cushioning of the sole is also sufficient, and my feet don't hurt even if I work for more than 8 hours. At this price, the quality and comfort are worth it. The last pair of shoes was bought in July 2023 and I wore them for two years. I highly recommend it to people working in the restaurant or service industry.
