Hormel Drink Thick & Easy Orange Juice (Nectar Consistency), 4-Ounce Portion Control Cups (Pack of 24)

I'm giving this 4 stars with the caveat that it's based on personal preference. I ordered this for a family member who's having trouble swallowing but is being picky about what they drink. He did not like the taste of the thickened orange juice. I do not know if it is because of the consistency or the flavor. He likes a particular brand so that could be it. I tried it and thought that it was quite good - not too acidic and it didn't leave an aftertaste. However, my family member won't drink it so I'll return it and order the apple juice instead. The thickened orange juice was delivered quickly and there were no broken containers. I wish there were a smaller sampler pack available (like a 6-pack) so that one could try all the flavors and pick what works for them.

First of all my elderly family member drinks this juice readily. Have tried all the other thick juices for dysphagia and this one he likes. I have ordered it several times. In the last shipment two of the 24 small containers had slight leaks. Not a big mess, but I cleaned up some of the others, tossed the two that had leaked and asked the provider for a refund for the two leaking ones. OZ very promptly credited back my credit card for those two with no hassles. I will order again.

When you are dealing with having to drink something thick, it is really important to have flavor to it and These did. My husband would drink one every morning and occasionally one or two throughout the day. Now he no longer needs them and I am hoping that it will continue to stay that way. The price was reasonable, however, could have been a little bit cheaper, especially when it comes to seniors going thru this.

I got this product for my brother that needs nectar thickened liquids, he enjoys the taste of this product, one of the first products in which he enjoyed after getting out of the hospital. Thank-You for this wonderful product, hope to see even more flavors in the future. 😊

If you are unfortunate enough to have to drink thickened liquid, the taste of this is actually tolerable. I tried pretty much everything I could get my hands on and this is the only one I liked. I just wish it wasn't so pricey.

Awesome product highly recommend ..great for swallowing issues

Precisely the product that they gave my mother-in-law in the hospital. She has great difficulty swallowing. She had a swallowing study done and is on a "nectar thick" diet (which is thinner than a "honey thick" diet. She can manage this and likes the taste.

Good stuff, especially when combined with Pulpy Orange Juice
