SHANREN GPS Bike Computer Di-Pro Built-in Front Light Bluetooth ANT+ Wireless Bike Computer Speedometer and Odometer, Rechargeable Cycling Computer for Most Bikes

I have been looking for a GPS bike computer with longer battery life, coz sometimes I would do longer trip over 300miles. My old Garmin only lasts around 10+ hours, really drove me mad when it blacks out during the ride. I don’t know Shanren until one day I came across a post on Cycling weekly about this GPS. So I decided to give a shot. I had it fully charged for only one time, then had several long test rides. Finally, I am quite impressed with the result - 1770km totally, and 96.6- hour as I have counted manually! This is amazing.Plus, I like its headlight and warning light design. Although the headlight is not that bright as what I have imagined, it’s fairly enough if used on casual rides at night and simply just very convenient - without having to bring together with another lamp.I also bought an ECG heart rate monitor from Shanren, works great with Discovery Pro, and I really like the additional ECG output on Shanren App! I am a happy customer.

Its disappointing to say the least, the RPM is measured by the speed sensor its not showing the real speed i'm going and the Heart rate monitor is slow in telling the true heart beat, and it shows my heart beat is always over 150 to 170 beats per minute. Any cycling GPS you see sell for cheap its better to avoid it. These Chinese cheap cycling devices are not what features and satisfaction you get when you buy it as to compared it to a Garmin 520 or Garmin 1030 plus which is better off. I am gonna buy a Garmin 1030 Plus for $600-$800. Avoid this Cheap Chinese Crap. The only thing about this Shanren i like is the large screen display and the Front Light and it dis-attachment capability.

It is easiest to set it up with the Sharen Sports app from your smart phone.THIS WAS IMPORTANT TO ME: In Aug 2020, this bundle shipped with the Beat 10 HRM (their old tech). The newer Beat 20 has a lot more features. If you want the more advanced HRM you will need to buy it separately.If I knew in advance, I would have bought the cadence bundle, and then the Beat 20 separately. Now I have a Beat 10 I do not need and a Beat 20 on the way.

Seemed to work great. Watt reading was a plus to have without a power meter. Didn’t keep it long enough to test the battery life. Returned it as the one I got was only in Chinese and couldn’t figure out all the functions. Tried to get it exchanged but didn’t have much luck. Returned instead. Easy import to Strava from the shanren app.

Excellent bike computer same size as my headlight. Not to big though. Easy to use controls. Do not have to use phone. Can use strava.

Backed this product on Indiegogo and was happily using this device until the first rain... Shanren states that this is IP65... Which is more than able to handle rain... Especially what little rain we get in SoCal, but after about five minutes, the screen fogged up so much I couldn't read it anymore. Not only that, the Bluetooth connection died and I couldn't pull my rides out of it. The last straw was that it refused to turn on the next day after I left it on my table in the hopes it would dry out...The kicker for me is that when I reached out to Shanren, they claim, and I quote "Di-Pro is IP65 waterproof, it should not be used under heavy rain in long time.."Are you kidding me? If it was waterproof, I would not get any fogging. Also, IP65 is dust-proof and able to withstand a "low power jet of water sprayed at it from any angle with limited ingress"...rain is not a jet of water...If you don't plan to ride in the rain or in humid weather, it is a decent computer with an incredible battery life... But if you want to ride in humidity or light rain... Get something else...

I used it in Hong Kong after Indiegogo deal. The overall setting is crazy unfriendly and inconvenient.The worse is when you need to change bike and always re-pair the sensor.Then, the first rain. Not waterproof at all. I wrote them, sent them pictures and nothing. They claimed it cannot support rain. So, there is endless fog on the screen, USB is oxidized despite the cap well put.After that, during sunshine, the fog still come even months after the rain and cannot see clearly the screen.Last unpleasant issue is the sweat. When some drop of sweat are on the device, it's creating a white mark which take hours to disappear.Now, after one year, impossible to stop the front light, always ON which drain the battery.It could be a good product if the service and the weather performance was at the right level.Keep aside this bad quality product and unserious service...

A very good cycling computer compare to many brands out there.Excellent battery that can last me for few hundreds km to recharge, if use with front light u need to charge every 2 trips about 80-90km.Good sync with my Shanren Beat 20 & Shanren Raz-Pro especially for the light sync and also sync with my Magene Speed & Magene Cadence sensor.So far this is the best Cycling Computer that I own.Hope Shanren team can update the Di-Pro with more features like GPS Plotting Map & Support my Di2 with gear ratio display in future or invent another new Di-Pro II with these feature add in and replace the light with camera recording or both also compatible.Waiting for your new updates or new Di-Pro to be invented.

This meter has everything what i needed for a cycling trip. It has Lights! (No more carrying extra lights), it has navigation! (Bye bye my phone mount on the bike) It has warning light i feel which is a plus where people can see me coming over. What interests me the most is the display! Its HUGE!!!! I can see practically what i wanted to see in 1 screen such as Heart Rate, Speed, Cadence, Elevation, Watts, Navigation, My Phone Notification. Compared to my fenix 5, i feel comfortable having this on my bike despite the size difference. Love the bracket and the cadence combo with it. Thanks Sharen for this awesome product. Will enjoy my ride more now.
