It's a Mirabox Capture Card For Only $16
Bought this to be able to play Switch games through my PC monitor and also to be able to stream it to friends. I spent hours looking and this is the cheapest capture card I could find that actually seemed like it had real USB 3.0. With it having the appearance of being a rebranded Chinese Mirabox capture card, I read reviews of other Mirabox cards before buying and most had quite good reviews. And those cards are usually 2-3x the price of this one. So I decided to take the chance on it.And now that I've used it extensively I can say it really is a Mirabox capture card for $16. It works and has fairly low latency, I am able to play Switch games with almost no input delay. What more can you ask for at that cheap of the price? The image quality isn't going to blow you away by any means. It doesn't look like true 1080p in my opinion. There is some blur/graininess especially blown up to full screen but it's not a big deal for for Nintendo Switch games which already run at low resolution anyways. Just don't expect to plug in amazing graphics PS5/Xbox Series X games get the full quality out of them. And it has some issues, like "banding", for example if a big portion of the screen is 1 uniform color and a small item moves across the screen I can see vertical stripes of color above/below that item.It is plug-and-play but I will say in order to get it to show up on OBS I had to go into my Windows 11 Camera and Mic Privacy settings and allow desktop apps to access camera/mic. Also the colors looked way off by default until I changed the color space settings in OBS which improved it drastically. But even with doing that AND adjusting settings in the color correction filters, I still couldn't get it to look perfect exactly the way it looks plugged directly into a TV/monitor. I do wish there was driver support, as well as a website with English customer support to potentially help with some of these issues, but they're not deal breakers at the price by any means so oh well. But at the end of the day it may not be perfect for $16 what do you expect. For the price it's easily better than probably anything else that's the same price. For a beginner on a tight budget trying to do some basic streaming/recording of Switch games, this is probably the best option for under $20.

Surprised by how nice this device is
After looking around at the various options this one seemed like a great value in terms of price to features so ordered one. It arrived 3 weeks sooner than promised. The packaging was Apple quality, quite impressive. What was really impressive was the device itself. I just assumed it was all plastic but it's actually all metal casing. The base is a nice red anodized aluminum, the top is black aluminum and between the fins are little blue lights that glow when you connect it to USB-C.I'm using it with a Sony RX100-V as a streaming webcam. It works flawlessly with my 2017 15-inch MacBook pro running OS 10.14.6(Mojave), HP Elitedesk 800 G4 running windows 10 64bit, and my 2020 MackBook air i5 running MacOS 10.15.4(Catalina). There was no software to install or anything... just connect all the cables and the camera shows up as "Mirabox" in apps like Zoom, Skype, OBS, etc. Also included in the box was an awesome white USB-C cable with some red anodized aluminum connector wraps along with a cool metal and nylon carrying strap. Overall i'm very impressed by the fit/finish/details and the product works flawlessly -- 5 Stars.

Card would not work or show up on OBS
So I bought this capture card for streaming, I followed the instructions on how to set it up and it did not work. OBS would not pick up that the card is even there, so I went into Device Manager and the card shows up under the Camera tab which is odd. I clicked on to update drivers, it said that it is up to date but upon further reading I found that the last drivers installed on it are from 2006 so yeah. I scoured the net looking for answer, I can't even find the company website. The Email given is a joke, [email protected], I have never seen a email like this, I sent them a message about all this and no reply. I spent 5 hours trying to get this to work with no luck at all. Oh and on their warranty card they spelled Brand "BrandH" So yeah...Look buy at your own risk, hopefully yours works.Returning and buying one from a company that actually has a real website, email address, and support for their product.

EXCELLENT. Resolved Sony FDR-AX-53 HANDYCAM Live Stream problem!!!
My +1000 Sony FDR-AX-53 was UNABLE to live stream anywhere other than Ustream, for 100/month. I wanted to stream events, meetings and games, but could not. Sony actually was not helpful and my 1000 boat anchor was infuriating. (I loved everything else about it). After reading multiple solution sets with variable results on line, we decided on this capture card as the intermediary solution to our issue. IT WORKS. Better, it works simply. This is is a BEAST and does almost all the work on the stream, which is easily output via laptop. Rarely impressed with technology doing what its supposed to do well (rarity), this card is rugged and a work horse.HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone sending video in HD. Even comes with a super nice clip strap for field use, which makes it very utilitarian. The casing is very well designed. Someone was thinking when they designed this from inside to outside. Very happy!
