The Hardbound Edition is Beautiful!
For the money this is an excellent value. The cover, illustrations, binding, paper stock, and easy to read typeface make this hardbound version a pleasure to read. The editors did an excellent job of breaking the book into chapters (the original was a continuous narrative.) The text is pretty much as original, which means that it was written for an 18th century reader, but it is not difficult to read. The story is exciting. The main character has a rough time and presents an adult life with themes that would be rated PG13 in the movies.

It’s an analogy to life. Great read for those looking for high adventure. Cannables too
As good an adventure book as I had hoped. I was thoroughly entertained and felt my boyish excitement return. Engrossing and rewarding. I loved it

This is a lovely binding of a favorite classic. The cover and pictures within are beautiful.

Misprint on cover
The photograph on the cover is printed upside down. The rest of the book seems to be okay, so we will keep it for convenience and not to be wasteful, but clearly there’s some QA lacking at this printing company.

Indispensable for the Young and Old!
I read this book when I was some 10 yrs old and it started my life for life.I was born in Crusoe's Island and now middle aged had to read it again, slowly. Couldn't believe it is printed in China but just like the Pekin Duck is good quality. Large and lovely to hold. The scent not so great.Buy it!

Misleading
The book I received was Robinson Crusoe but I picked this one because of the style in which It was published. I received a copy that is commonly used in schools which was a bit disappointing. It did affect my overall enjoyment of the classic.

Fabric book cover, the colour scheme sinks it
I bought this book as my dad would read it to me as a child and I wanted a nice copy to remember that by. I should have chosen a different a different one. The fabric cover does not do a lot for me I feel as if it will get scuffed or marked very easily. My biggest problem with this book is that It is bright orange! All the pages and the ribbon bookmarks are bright orange! It looks terrible! I will definetly be looking for this book somewhere else.

This rupa edition will destroy the very zeal of ur reading such a beautiful masterpiece.
very small font, bad print and paper quality, hardly readable. it is quite unfortunate such all classic books comes in such horrible edition. anyway price was low. instead of this rupa publication go for other publications like collins or bantam, if u r willing to spend more go for penguin. i am going to buy a bantam edition.
