Using Theraplex for over 25 years. Love that it lightly moisturizes my skin without heavy, oily residues!I'm incredibly hot-natured and, for years, I refused to apply lotion in the summertime until I discovered Theraplex's "Clear Lotion" which keeps my skin moist and healthy - all 4 seasons, long!Ultimately, its preventing that vicious cycle of "dry to extremely dry to oily to extremely oily" - a cycle that can take years to break!A WIN / WIN!!

I am 65yo and I have been using this lotion for over 40 years. I have lived a hard life and I can say with absolute certainty that if not for this stuff, I would look like I was 110yo. As it is, many people tell me that I do not look 60. But even at that, the best use of it is with my hands. With all the hard, handwork I have done in my life, I have never worn gloves. The wind-burning from years of riding motorcycles, which most people have; Not Me! The calluses that most people have after years of using hand tools, and being damaged by the work; Not Me. Not one callus on my hands. Unfortunately, the arthritis and the scars are quite evident to prove years of work, but still smooth and without calluses. Amazing stuff!

Great for dry skin

For the last 4 or 5 years, I've experienced painfully dry and itchy skin in the winter (particularly on my shins). I even developed some weird bump that the dermatologist told me was harmless but probably permanent and caused by dry skin growth. EW. Anyway, last year I found this lotion thanks to tons of great reviews and began applying it in September before my skin became its normal awful dry self for the winter. I use it every morning after I shower and OH MY GOD it literally changed my life. My weird bump is GONE. My dry bumpy skin just never showed up this year. It's not cheap and I go through almost a bottle every month but dear lord is it worth it!!! What a gift! I also use the Theraplex Hydro Lotion on my very sensitive, dry (but acne prone) skin, and it's equally as magnificent. So grateful!

So this bottle has a hole at the top, but the lid isn’t the right one to allow the flow of the lotion. The openings are not lined up correctly, so I have to take the lid off to use it. But the lotion is great.

My dermatologist recommended this because I have pretty sensitive skin, prone to turning red, getting dry, and creating patchy, itchy areas. It's meant to be used right after you shower, and because it's best to apply all-over, it might add a few minutes to your routine.I'm not sure why the image here shows a lotion-like white cream; despite the name "Clearlotion" is actually a mineral oil-based product, completely clear and more liquid than solid. Despite containing oils, it sinks into the skin pretty deeply, and you're supposed to "buff" using a dry towel when you're done applying it, so it's not like it'll stick to your clothing or leave you with a greasy feeling.The idea is that Thereplex Clearlotion helps keep your body's existing moisturizer IN, rather than letting it out in those precious moments after you bathe, making your skin dry and itchy; this is useful after a shower, especially if you like long, hot showers that can really dry out your skin.I'm not a fan of the flip-top bottle that's part of the new design; I liked the squeeze bottle with a twist-off top instead, because it didn't seem to drip everywhere as much, and I could apply it to places like my back with ease. Still, you get about a month's supply in a bottle, depending on your size, how often you shower, and how dry your skin is. I've found it's best to apply the Clearlotion directly to your skin and then rub it in, rather than trying to get an adequate amount in your hand, only to have it drip all over or get absorbed into your hand before you can apply it where you want.

This is essentially an after-shower oil, but it works better than any I've used before. My skin feels so much softer and it provides long-lasting results.It's a very thin consistency and a little goes a long way.Shake before use, start with a tiny amount and spread around on wet skin. Allow to dry for a few minutes before toweling off. Be careful not to spill any in the shower/tub, as it will make things slippery!

I needed to get more of this moisturizer and couldn't find it at any store/drugstore. Amazon had it! I ordered 2 so I have a backup. This lotion I put on after showering, it's not greasy and makes a difference on my skin, especially in the summer but I use it year round.
