Keeps Sun off my Head and Sweat from my Eyes
Yesterday was the first time I used this dew rag under my cycling helmet. It was a warm sunny and humid spring day here in Louisiana, a perfect day to test this item. Since I have very short hair I wanted a headpiece that would 1) protect my scalp from the sun and 2) keep the perspiration from running down my head and face. 3) be comfortable and not too hot. This dew rag performed all three tasks superbly. besides fitting well (I'm a large 23 1/4" hat size) it absorbed perspiration like a champ, and only got moderately moist in the process, effectively wicking away the moisture and keeping my head cool and dry as the moisture evaporated. Other then when I first put it on, I didn't even notice it under my helmet. It also made my helmet more comfortable as the sweat-band part of this cap acted as extra cushioning. I will be wearing this headpiece as the Southern sun gets hotter and the humidity here gets higher. One word of advice, if the sun is an issue where you live, I think a lighter colored version would be better. That's why I chose the camo color.UPDATE: It's now September 21 and I've been using this little gem all summer. It still fits and looks like brand new, and is a regular part of my cycling kit for all rides. Hardly a need to own more than one unless you don't like washing it right after use. If you need to wear this two or more days in a row, a quick wash wring-out and hang drying, and it's ready to go when you wake up.UPDATE: It's now April 2016, and I'm still wearing my original camo dew rage- almost 2 years and it's good as new. I now own three of these. Besides the camo version, I now have a stars-n-stripes, and day-glo yellow one too. These are so inexpensive now, why not get several. For warmer weather cycling these are all I wear. They're great.UPDATE: It's September 2016 and I just bought my 4th one. Now I have several colors/designs. For their reasonable price buying a few of these is a no-brainer.

excellent product
i’ve bought these for years just never left a review now my guilt has caught up with me and i feel i owe it to all my welding brothers and construction workers to inform them. i’ve always wore a bandanna while welding because when your welding on live gas mains there’s nothing worse than sweat dripping on your lens and now your looking at 2 or 3 weld puddles. these things are so much better than just the good old bandanna. with the elastic band in them they stay put on your head plus they wick the sweat away like a sponge. if you sweat like crazy like i do then buy a few you won’t be disappointed. there do comfortable you’ll find yourself wearing them all the time

Not bad
The fit on this was a little off for me. The elastic band helps keep it snug to my head, but the amount and shape of the fabric just didn't quite fit my head right. I think maybe after some use it'll probably break-in and I'll have to see after a wash cycle. I wore it to the gym twice and it did a good job keeping the sweat off my face. The price was reasonable and I'll buy another one if this makes it through laundry day.

Good product.
Happy with this bandana. I have been using it for long outdoor swim sessions just to keep the sun off my head. I think its more comfortable than a swim cap and it's holding up well. Not concerned about a little extra drag, not racing just exercising.

Good Cap
Very good cap/hat/or thing for protecting your hair from debris and dirt. It will help keep your head a little bit warmer in winter, and if you dunk it in water it will keep your head cool in summer. This is my 2d one. I wore the first one out. Well worth the price. I think it would easily fit the vast majority of people. AD2

Heads Up! This may not be the best doo-rag.
What I like:Color is pleasing, a bit high-tech green and grey. There's both a tie-back and an elastic band that holds snugly. What I'm confused about:The wide elastic says "Stay Tenacious!" I think this may refer to wearing this doo-rag. It's a mystery how one might need both the traditional tie-back and the elastic. It's also a messy way to hold back one's long hair--the elastic alone works well, as does the tie-back alone, but one can't have tie-back without the elastic, as it's shown on the promotional photo of this item.Motorcycle helmets might work well with this doo rag, but it isn't working for me without a helmet. I have neither a motorcycle, nor a helmet. So three stars for this item.
