Valuable information and easy to read.
Once again Todd Whitaker did not disappoint. This book, School Culture Rewired: How to Define, Assess, and Transform It, is full of information to aid the school leader and written for a busy administrator to read quickly and then put to use.

Awesome!
This book discusses the things you don’t talk about on a day to day basis, but can have the largest impact on your school!

Great insights and practical suggestions. Pick this one up.
Clear, concise writing about an important topic in education. The authors manage to appropriately and effectively link theory to practice. In my opinion, the real strength of the book is that it provides practical, hands-on suggestions on how to truly transform school culture. School culture gets a lot of print, but seldom does anyone actually explain HOW to make real change happen and HOW to make it last.

Great book with practical advice!
I loved this book. Have been reading a number of books on leadership, mindsets and cultural change and this book so far is the best! Because it’s aimed specifically at cultural change in schools, it has lots of practical advice and explains things without boring you or being condescending. It was so good I’ve already bought the follow-up book hoping for more useful tips. Anyways I thoroughly recommend this book.

Okay, but not fantastic – open to some criticism
This book provides some helpful insights regarding school culture, generally, particularly in terms of defining and assessing it. I would advise caution (perhaps as the authors occasionally do) when reading through the ideas to transform or "rewire" culture, because there were moments when I thought the advice that was given could inadvertently make the culture at a school more toxic, particularly when making suggestions about praising colleagues who conform to ideal cultural practices at the expense of proscribing staff members who do not, whether directly or indirectly. Some of the examples seemed too simplistic and lacking in nuance -- they largely resemble analogies rather than concrete stories of successful transformative events and developments in schools. Most of the book is intended for school leaders with a sort of top-down approach to transforming culture, but there is very little in terms of what a teacher could do to transform school culture from the ground up in their own classroom and pedagogy. There are, I think, much better and more engaging books out there regarding school culture.
