Fantastic!
Its absolutely fantastic board game! If you submarine/U-Boot freak like me you gonna love it! It take time to get through rule and tactical book but once you get thru it the whole game gets easier. The app is fantastic add no to the board game and game gets more interesting in my opinion. If you get the app on big screen like laptop or big tablet its a lot easier to operate the app on computer/tablet then on the smartphone.The bigger screen the better! And one more thing if you run out of maps or capitans logs you can download from uboottheboardgame.

Excellent U-Boat Simulation Board Game
Absolutely amazing game! You and up to three others take control of a U-Boat in WWII, and with the guidance of a very smooth app conduct missions and a campaign against allied shipping. Think ‘Das Boot’ the board game and you are some way there.There is a lot of crew and resource management as each player acts as an officer (mechanic, navigation, captain, etc), with subordinates to instruct. Even creating meals are important to maintain morale! Tasks mount up, things go wrong (fires, malfunctions, for example), and then there is the deadly cat and mouse against convoys and their escorts. Very tense, very exciting and playing this you can see this game is a labour of love.More a simulation than board game, which makes it more unique, but a lot of fun with a great level of player interaction and replayability! Don’t be daunted by the technical aspects like navigation, as the app and rules guide you well. Production value is very high, from the artwork, ‘tools’ down to the 90cm long U-Boat model where crew are positioned.Very highly recommended.
